Paying a 1000 gold fine for murdering Nazeem seems like a fair trade to me. On the other hand 1000 might be to expensive for most people in Whiterun. Hell now that I think about it. The fine for murdering someone to death is cheaper than a Dark Brotherhood contract. How does the Dark Brotherhood stay in business knowing that is the case.. Probably because no one wants to openly be a murderer I guess.

I like the theory about Sissel and the Shrine of Akatosh. If Paarthurnax flew to the shrine to pray to Akatosh. He most likely would have done so in the dead of night. If Sissel woke up one night and caught a glimpse of him as he flew over the town, she very well might have believed it was a dream. If you want to take the theory further, you could say that Sissel followed Paarthurnax to the shrine, and spoke to him. Or, I suppose since the dragon voice basically kills people, maybe they found a way to communicate without words, and she read him the "Kolb and the Dragon" book. I can picture Sissel at night, by the Shrine, reading a book to Paarthurnax. Maybe she's actually met him. Who knows?

that sounds really adorable now its canon...every night Paarthurnax visit said shrine as the only dragon to be a noble one Sissel one night runs away from home to avoid another beating and witnesses Paarthurnax flyin to the shrine....she is filled wit fear but still runs to see....she see Paarthurnax praying to Akatosh she musters up courage and says hello...…..Paarthurnax in worry of bein called out and possibly slain flees Sissel frowns and returns home next night Sissel returns to the shrine to see if Paarthrnax will return...and to her amazement he did Paarthurnax did return but stunned to see the little girl waiting for him he lands and asks …..why are you here little one......do you not fear me...… Sissel replies... my only fear is of my sister and father.....they...beat me...torment me...last night I tried to run away...and saw you I was scared but somethin in my heart told me I can trust you.....Paarthurnax feelin kind of joyed a .human ...doesn't fear..but also trusts him besides the graybeards...…. Sissel pulls out her book...and says …….I ...wanted to tell you a story...... Paarthurnax intrigued and somewhat delighted to see a brighter side of humans...says ...it would be an honor ….every night Sissel and Paarthurnax meet at the shrine … and Paarthurnax says ...if anyone asks...this is all a dream ok and Sissel just smiles and says ok...…. and so every night Sissel and Paarthurnax meet to tell stories and pray to Akatosh a friendship created by curiosity...with a bond stronger than the dragon tongue (please excuse all periods...my keyboard is broken so important keys I need like quotation marks don't work..)

What if the dwarves forced them to consume the fungus because it would diminish their souls? The dwarves could then harvest them to use in their various contraptions, often powered by common soul gems.

1:38 It even predate the elves that were there. As when Ysgramor arrived there, he asked the elves he had captured as slaves, what that thing was and even them did not know, they even feared it. It can be read about in Songs of the Return, Vol 7 which quote; Once, as the sun beat from its high-home, Jonder the Tiny, the one who ran ahead, came over the hill to tell what was seen. Amidst a vast plain his eyes had met a monument of a bird, whose eyes and beak were opened in flame. When his brothers and sisters crested the hill, they too saw its glory, but they were afraid for no elven settlement could be seen to the horizon. "But this is not seemly," said Kluwe, who went by Loate when hiding his face. "Is not this wide land fit for harvest? Why have not the elves, vile to their cote, seen to exploit and tame it?" They asked of their elven captives (for they had many) what they found unfit about these plains. Yet even the captives who still bore their tongues could say nothing of the valley. They looked with fear at the winged colossus, and from their babblings did the warriors of the Jorrvaskr learn that it was older than even the elves themselves. Of those who wrought it solid from its mother-stone, nothing could be said, but it was known to drive a magic almost as old as the Nirn itself, some remnant of the god's efforts to render a paradise in Mundus before the shattering of Lorkhan.

My theory for the statues is that they actually are the spirits of deceased Greybeards. I've heard another theory (it might have been from your channel) that one of the reasons that the Greybeards are so respected because they give up their chance to go to Sovngarde by dedicating themselves to the Way of the Voice instead of dying in battle. Maybe they did technically make it but just in the form of the statues. But I don't know how to explain that one statue breaking.

Apparently there's a hypothesis about blinding being connected to the tonal architecture. Dwemer tried to manipulate sound in a specific way to unlock the mysteries of the world. You can see similar approaches in other Elder Scrolls cultures, Dragonborn's Thu'um being primary example. So, the theory goes Falmer were made blind to attune their hearing to the song of the Earthbones for some kind of experiment.

@8:37 I actually solved the Dwemer mystery for you! 😃 Back during when the Dwarves were battling the Chimer (a race the Dunmer used to be known as before they all got their skin turned gray by Azura after the Battle of Red Mountain), the Dwarves were using several tools which were the Tools of Kragernac and the Heart of Lorkhan for every individual in their race to become immortal. During the Battle of Red Mountain, the Tribunal (Almalexia, Sotha Sil and Vivec (and, even Dagoth Ur, at one point)) Went to Red Mountain to confront the Dwarves. They had a big battle and Nerevar (also one of the Tribunal) took the heart of Lorkhan, and separated it from Kragernac's Tools, and all the Dwarves in the room with the Tribunal (who weren't the Tribunal yet) simply vanished into dust like when you kill a Necromancer's raised friend. And, as some may know, Nerevar died durig this battle and Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and Vivec used the Tools of Kragernac and the Heart of Lorkhan to become Gods in their own right. Giving all three of them the name of, "The Tribunal". And in doing so, the Chimer denounced Azura as a God to deify, and instead started worshiping the Tribunal. Azura (rightly so) was furious about this and turned the Chimer into Dunmer, the Dark Elves. In essence, like the Dwemer, the Chimer were victims, murdered by their own arrogance.

7:17 Also, Esbern and Runil also have been having dreams of dragons. Esbern was specifically of Alduin and Runil isn't entirely known what dragon was in his dream so it could just be a generic, unnamed one. Fairly odd, yeah? If it was just this little girl then maybe it could be a sign that she too might be dragonborn. I will admit that this could still hold weight but we have no way of knowing for sure.

My personal head cannon for Sissel is actually that she is a devout worshiper of Akatosh who in a rare but not exceedingly rare case of the Aedra acting has taken pity on her situation and given her a lot of strength of character and given her visions of others in similar situations but thriving so that she can tolerate her life. Think about it Paarthurnax is a lot like her, he is hated by his sibling (Alduin) and ignored by his father (Akatosh) yet his devotion to his life gives him pride and he moves on. I think their shared like to Akatosh has linked the two together in some manner. Plus it makes a sad situation into a feel good moment which we all need sometimes.

The missing Ward Stone conjures a few theories. 1- It was stolen by some passerby (like a highwayman/bandit) and they figured it was some magical artefact they could sell to the Kahjeet for a quick septim, obviously not knowing what it's true purpose was. 2- It was stolen by someone from the College of Winterhold because said person was arrogant enough to think that the people of Falkreath had "no idea" what was just randomly sitting in their graveyard and how it would be it much "better" hands at the College. 3- It was stolen by a member of the Thieves Guild on behalf of someone at the College of Winterhold, yeah see option 2.

Normally when you go visit the greybeards the for the first time in a game, you will talk to Arngeir, who will ask you to shout at him and the others so that they may "taste of your voice." I discovered that if instead of talking to Arngeir, you instead shout immediately upon entering High Hrothgar, you will complete the objective to demonstrate your Unrelenting Force shout, and you will unlock some unique dialogue from Arngeir. Pretty cool!

So I haven't played Skyrim in quite a few years (360 era). Now, I've purchased the special edition Skyrim about a month ago. I've been going ham of course lol. So being new to all the new updates. I've come to discover that you can adopt children! So after hearing the sad children's stories across my way. I purchase the house in solitude. Help the little girl in Whiterun. Still have one more room cool. I go on my way to Windhelm. But then I run into Sissel and her awful situation. Upon hearing the interesting things she says, I'm like well she's special and doesn't deserve the life she has..... The father must go..... Sooooooo I murder him to death because he's an awful father. I got a deed to the house and then I'm able to adopt Sissel. She's currently living in solitude as well. I give both the younglings as many gifts as I can and play tag. The other sister of Sissel is doing ok I suppose. I check on her here and there. I would adopt her if I could but it only let's you adopt 2. Ok, long story over! Lol. I appalled anyone who actually read this. Lol

I think with the final one there is a possibility that Harkon did it, considering that dlc is canon as if you started the game with it, just because it’s DLC doesnt stop it from being canon in the lore so there is a possibility. RooplesPooples You’re neglecting the fact that the quest was written before the concept of clan volkihar even existed in the game. Sure you can retroactively fit it into plausibility but the original intent will always be a mystery and cannot be ascertained unless you ask the writer directly. You’re are right though, Harkon very likely is the canon answer but if you take into account what I said prior you can see the schism between what is and what isn’t considered canon it’s almost impossible to to determine and the reason why dumbass story contrivances like the dragon break exist in the first place. TLDR: lore is stupid.

They’re more like goblins now except somehow even worse Though there’s a few details that don’t add up, they killed most of the snow elves but the vampire one somehow gained control of them or gained their allegiance…how and if that’s possible could the last remaining snow elf do the same and somehow begin the process of returning them to a semblance of their former selves

what happens if you transform into a werewolf inside harkon castle ?

Not possible due to the lack of player control in the castle when you first arrive. Oh... You probably referencing to when you get cured and get back furry powa from Aela the Actress. Probably they will try to murder you to death and calling you out to go back to DJ Hark0-0-0n to get back your djenty strings.

On the Falmer: Since the Dwemer might've gotten all their souls sucked out to go to their weird machine they were trying to make, isn't it possible that this event affected the Falmer too? Maybe the reason their souls are lesser or common as opposed to black souls now is because part of them got sucked out in the same event that the Dwemer lost theirs in.

"Bethesda clearly put a lot of effort into scripting these objects-" Hold on there, buckaroo. Let's get one thing straight here: Bethesda HAS never, and WILL never, put a lot of effort into scripting ANYTHING.

I disagree, somewhat. They clearly put a lot of effort into skyrim. Fallout 4, sadly not as much. Fallout 76, nah....but skyrim and fallout 4 were not too bad, especially skyrim.

@@JustKelso1993 Thy put a lot of effort into world building, quests, dialogue, all that stuff. But scripting? There's junk code from as far back as Morrowind in Fallout 76. The parts of the engine (which is actually a pretty good engine, Beth just utilizes/implements it poorly) that handle scripts are not up to the task of modern games.

@@JustKelso1993 The ,main reason Bethesda games crash so often is due to the engine being unable to handle a lot of scripts. This is also the main reason that heavily modded games will become more and more unstable over a long playthrough. So, if you want to add a lot of mods but don't want crashes, stay away from mods that add scripts.

2 things I found out this week:1. If you get hit by Alduin's shout in Helgen, you can clearly see that your hands are not bound at all.2. When you first enter the College of Winterhold, Faralda will ask what it is you seek. Depending on your answer, you will be given a different kind of novice robe.
