after many days of research our scholars have discovered what could possibly be the meaning of this mystical phrase. "Read The Fucking Manual" While we understand the main point of this phrase we will continue searching for understanding of the third term.

you'd still have to walk in the dream.... so two steps forward, one step back.

Except for the part that you don't know who you will be in the dream, if it's during their final moments, or if the place they went to isn't now a death trap. The dreamstride isn't controlable and the reason why it works in the quest is either a lot of luck, or the attempt of Vaermina to corrupt the Dragonborn.

Clearly someone needs to mod that. Enabling fast travel, but only after this quest and after you get the Dreamstride potion recipe. Drink one to Fast Travel.

ecxept your chareetor only has that potion once so he cant be in dreamstride when fast traveling

RTFM = Read the Fracking Manual. It was all a dream. I used to read Skyrim magazine. Ors N Falmer and Redguard warriors fighting along me.

Someone could still make a mod for that. Except it really wouldn't allow you to fast travel, but just send you in a completely random location. Could be fun.

Gopher you might want to try out the mod Dovahkiin and the apprentices of Thu'um. It allows your character to teach followers certain shouts at the cost of dragon souls. I think that really matches Richard's scholarly character.

This Dreamstride sounds a lot like the Serpent Holes from Darksiders.

Yeah..it could be a foundation of a brilliant mod..make dreamstride potion using ingredient, mark the targeted dreamer using Skull of Corruption , drink the potion... It should be somewhat unsafe..you might fast travel & die instantly or lose lots of health ,etc..

i think il stick to scenic carriages. wouldnt want to wake up inside a dragons stomach after the dreamstride.

Maybe in spite of having the knowledge, it's still very much surprising to that particular priest -- but I forgot how he interacted so I'm not quite sure. :P I too found it silly of him - he surely should have expected you to vanish, which makes his thing to keep watch over your body rather silly. :P lol Maybe their version of the book actually has well over 6 pages of information and he just skimmed or didn't reach that bit. It is quite a large looking book after all and it's just a few pages so that it's reasonable for the players to read. :P

I really hope you're going to be starting on Chapter 2 soon. All the mods needed for your playthrough have since updated, I believe. Well, a majority anyway. The major bugs are out of the way though. SkyRe still needs to update though. Which may be the breaking point... hopefully this will be fixed soon.

How about instead of disabling fast travel for immersion just make fast travel less useful i.e. you get tired, cold, etc. some negative attributes depending where and how far you travel

A mod to become Vaermina's champion would be cool. Travel to Quagmire to quest, induce terror in your foes with nightmares, and of course, obtain the recipe for the torpor.
