This is something I hate about Fiend Folio. Some of the coolest easter eggs aren't behind something reasonable, like some kind of challenge, but just an incredibly low chance for something to appear randomly. It's annoying. I know most easter eggs from watching them online or messing with debug mode.

The API doesn't let us change it directly, BUT nothing stops us from spawning a regular beggar and killing it in the same instant. I assume this must be how Andromeda does it. I've made the punished and my mod is also affecting devil chance in a way, by forcing the player to take invisible red heart damage, but again, nothing direct

There should be an Angel Beggar that only takes Soul/Black Hearts but could give you an Angel Room item. They should mainly drop cards and runes, or give you a boost to Angel Room chance, and if you bomb them, you'll get higher Devil Room chance, and 50% chance for 1 Soul Heart.
