That was a blizzard? Looks like 5" or so of snow and the streets are cleared in the morning. I lived in Duluth, MN for 8 years and it is nothing for it to snow a foot, even 2-3 feet of snow at a time. And everybody just carries on. But those temps you're in....brrrr!!! Glad you stayed safe and warm :)
@newconor2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha yea I guess the definition of a blizzard differs depending on where you are! These were probably the coldest temps I had to deal with and I held up great!
@jannah42882 жыл бұрын
@@newconor yeah, that's offully cold for certain! Glad you held up well.

New here. I’m curious about the heated blanket!!! Thanks

it was just a cheap amazon heated blanket! I think it pulls like 70watts

You should of have parked in a public parking garage to keep the snow off the vehicle. I’ve been thinking of purchasing one of Jackery 1000 power banks.
@newconor Жыл бұрын
I didn't want to pay for a parking garage, not really any free ones in the city of Denver. The power station was great I loved it

Can you run a cube type electric heater on a jackery?
@newconor Жыл бұрын
i suppose its possible, like the really small ones? I remember looking into it last year but even the tiny ones use a lot of power

You need to remove the front passenger seat for more space...
@newconor2 жыл бұрын
haha like how you put (...) nah I never really considered that because pushing the seat forward allows me to unfold the bed more which makes it 6ft which is plenty for me to sleep. I tend to go on a lot of trips with people so having that front seat was essential for travel

How’s come you put the window shades with the shiny side facing out? Wouldn’t you be a bit warmer with some indoor heat reflecting back at you? Course, I’ve never done this; I was just wondering…
@newconor Жыл бұрын
its made for each window so you can't reverse them, plus they are technically made to reflect heat out of the car but just having them on there is like insulation so it will help keep any heat in there as well, compared to just having the windows

Don't know where you live, but that wasn't much of a blizzard. And really not all that cold. Like to see you try that out in Dickinson North Dakota when it's 50 below
@newconor Жыл бұрын
not much of a blizzard yes, but for Denver it is solid. Just showing a situation I was in while living out of my car haha I would love to try it in north dakota too but i know it doesnt get that cold there very often making it sound like 50 below every year hahaha, from what I know it doesnt drop below -14 degrees there often but would be cool try try colder with this set up!
