Not funny at all, very frustrating!!!! My own fault though. SP
@evopwrmods5 жыл бұрын
@@fadedjate7230 You can get a 100 watt rigid solar panel for right at $100.00 on Amazon. With a couple of these panels you can power most all smaller devices that one might need out in the back country. You will then just need a battery system and inverter to go with them. Or you could go with one these all-in-one battery/inverter package systems.
@SlimPotatohead5 жыл бұрын
I included a link in the video description. Good flexible 100W panels are currently under $200. Basic controllers are a lot cheaper. SP

Hey Slim. Camping in dry river beds, valleys and sometimes even on the lower parts of plains can be extremely dangerous out west to include Texas and Oklahoma. While you are sitting under perfectly sunny skies, it can rain and flash flood 50 miles up stream and then come at you with little to no warning as a wall of water. Even just 4 to 6 inches of rushing water can drag you away. There is also the danger of the dams doing a scheduled and sometimes unscheduled release. You can google the dam/flood water release bulletins for the lakes upstream from your location. Thanks for your vids. I am impressed with your solar set up. Simple and effective, just the way we like it.

First time posting, I grew up just south of Safford in a ranching burg called Artisa population 147! My family arrived in the area in 1864. I love this part of Arizona I have lived in Globe and Phoenix, now we live in Prescott and have worked near Puerto Penasco for the last 20+ years. I love your videos, they capture the beauty of Arizona. Next time you head that way you should visit the Graham Mountains. Especially Noon Creek and Turkey Flats. I have been to all 50 states in the US and several other countries but have not found any place with the variety that Arizona has. Nature at its finest and you do a wonderful job of capturing it all! Thank you!

Some of the snowfall in some areas they got about 40 inches. It's weird seeing snow collecting on cactus and lawn chairs. The spring flowers in the Arizona desert should be spectacular this year due to the increase in winter rains. Hope you are around the area toward the end of March and April to enjoy them. The down side is there will be a lot of thick dry grass that greatly increases the fire risk during May and June before the July summer rains.

Hi Slim....I recently came across one of my old travel calendars that had a quote for each month. In particular the April quote reminded me of your saying to "go where the road takes you".
