Jay used daddies influence to get into slipknot there was absolutely no way in hell after joeys legacy that kid was the FIRST thought in the bands head to replace him. I’m sure he didn’t act like the little prick he normally is because Corey wouldn’t stand for it. The kid is entitled and that’s why no one works with him. Do the research he also struggled in those years to play anything that he didn’t write

Sure psychosocial was faster than the album, but this had nothing to do with tempo shifts, as it was the entire song from the beginning to the end, consistent. Sure, Eloy is great. But I despise how this then for some reason leads to such hate against the predecessor.

Craig Reynolds was right on his analysis. Eloy it's not using a metronome/ click. You can feel a slightly changing in time, between the second verse when Eloy does the sixteenth notes on the bass drum and the bridge. Dispite that, it's amazing how he's able to keep the original tempos almost perfectly in hand.
