@@Clutterbug I use the bottom drawer in my elfa closet for a laundry bin. The one they sell is too large when attached but the drawer works well --especially 3 tier drawer. Ur Children are wonderful

My son designed a closet that I turned into a mini office. We took off the doors, removed the track on the floor and placed my desk inside. He then put in Elfa shelves above the desk. It came out great and allowed the room to have space for a double bed and a crib. Now that my grandson is out of the crib we removed it and now he has plenty of space to play when he comes over and I still have an office space.

Toy Story is so real! My sisters and I felt that way about our stuffed animals, and we grew up way before Pixar was even a twinkle in somebody's eye. It is very hard to part with the beloved toys you believe are, in a way, alive. Great video!

I LOVE this closet design. We have had Elfa systems throughout our home for over a decade, including taking them from our old home to the new. They are incredibly durable! Also, that story w your neighbor was hilarious!

I completely cleaned out a couple of closets in my house last year and the system I came up with seems to be working because they’re pretty tidy to this day! But you gave me some ideas for drawer storage which I hadn’t considered before. 🤔 Thanks for the ideas. I’m a 🐝 so you can imagine most everything I’ve done so far is very visual. Lesser used items are okay for drawer storage but labels would be helpful. I laugh when your daughter gets excited about items she forgot she had because going through my closets in the past has been like opening up a treasure chest for me. 💎 🤣

Loved watching you two together, I could tell you were having fun with this project! Don't feel bad Abby, my husband also completely forgets about the existence of items he can't see. Even stuff in the fridge that I made for him 2 days ago lol. Haha the mud mask story made me laugh. A couple months ago I decided to dye hair and with it piled on my head under a plastic shower cap, I'm in old pj's that I didn't mind getting dye stains on. When the UPS driver showed up with some equipment for my new job, I didn't know was being delivered that day 😳 I had to go outside to open the gate for him and sign for the boxes. All I could do was apologize for my appearance and explain I was dyeing my hair. Haha

I once overslept--til 11 a.m.---and was still in my pj's with hair a greasy mess, when the doorbell rang. UPS. I didn't want to miss the delivery or end up having to go to their warehouse to pick it up so,reluctantly, I answered the door. The driver needed a confirmation signature and asked "Mrs. Kapp?". I said "No, but I'll sign for her." 🥸

My daughter is now in her (gulp!) Thirties ...and lives @ 600 miles away . I still have her "stuffiest" safely packed away in clear bins . This way she has to come visit ME in order to visit with her "babies".

I’ve been home recovering from surgery. Found your channel and binge-watched! (including all the hot mess house episodes)! Makes me miss my mom so much (who passed away after a battle with severe COVID pneumonia)… we did so many organization projects together. 😢 Of course I am a butterfly and mom was a cricket who liked everything hidden away so her projects made me a little frustrated as a kid 🙈 buuut I still miss doing them with her. ❤️ Also, I would LOVE an Elfa storage solution like that. So dreamy. I moved in with my widowed dad and I still haven’t figured out how to fit all my stuff in this place so I can really stay organized (especially since we’re still working around a lot of mom’s stuff too, and I am going through cancer treatment… overwhelming.) I love those mesh drawers especially! So cool!

I just redid my closet with the help of the design experts at The Container Store and Elfa, and hubby. :) Mine is graphite in color. I LOVE IT! I did keep the doors on though to keep the bedroom more streamlined. I also got the velvet hangers from TCS. What a difference using all the same type of hanger makes!

I do love their velvet hangers. I've tried ones from another store and they broke so easily, but The Container Store hangers are tough!
