On the topic of "sounding military"; Sabaton has a song called "The Lost Division" about the United States Liberty division who got lost in the Argonne forest, caught between the enemy and friendly troops and taking fire from both during world war 1. The drum parts were made using the sounds of a machine gun, a pistol and a bayonet. It's a great song, and an excellent story.

At some point after reuniting, Stigler was asked why he hadn't shot down the Pub. His response was something that his old squadron leader in North Africa had got up in front of them and said: "If I see or hear of any of you shooting at a man in a parachute, I will shoot you myself." Pilots and crew parachuting from damaged aircraft are considered unable to defend themselves anymore, attacking them is actually a war crime, and Stigler saw the Pub being like a giant metal parachute, as it appeared to be unable to defend itself (Stigler wasn't aware of the frozen guns) as it wasn't firing at him.

Ah, love some Sabaton. 1916 is also worth a watch, it's their cover of the Motörhead song inspired by the Battle of the Somme. Or if you want something a bit heavier try Primo Victoria (D Day) or Attack of the Dead Men (German gas attack on Russians in WWI) ... I'm sure others will share their favourites too 🙂

Hi Kay, I had listened to 1916 last year and had reacted to it as well on this channel 🙂 Yes, I'm the guy who loves and appreciates heavy music ;-) So, I'll keep the suggestions in mind. God I wish these videos could be edited and uploaded by themselves so I could spend more time in listening to music and sharing reviews, lol.

@@adnanreacts92 ah, I didn't realise you'd already done 1916, I will go back and watch it! I sometimes listen to Sabaton when driving, so I know there are lots of good songs to choose from but don't know all the song titles lol. Maybe with the way AI is going you will get your wish one day 😉

@@adorablespore Wow, I rarely listen to any music while I'm driving. But I spent listening or hearing to many songs while I was sculpting all day long. P.S. Sorry I didn't had the chance to check out Porcupine Tree. I'll do it soon, what kind of music they make and where should I start btw?

@adnanreacts92 oof, that's a big question. They're kind of a modern/somewhat heavier Rush. The drummer, Gavin Harrison, is up there with Danny Carey and Neil Peart. Can't go wrong with Anesthetize (live in Tilburg version recommended - they are a band best appeciated live for any song) but I appreciate it's very long so some other suggestions: arriving somewhere but not here, fear of a blank planet, Hatesong, way out of here, Trains (not their best but it's popular), or maybe Harridan for something more recent

React to: Sabaton song 40:1 rekorded live from concert at Woodstock Poland. 500000ppl in audience and everyone sings with them. And another great video is live from Gothenburg in Sweden, the song “En livstid i krig” = A lifetime at war. They sing in Swedish and everyone sings with them. There are subtitles in English

Sabaton is the only band who can make a French audience sing in English about an Russian army defending against a German army 😂.

I hope you can listen to Black Sabbath's first album with Ronnie James Dio as vocalist, Heaven and Hell. It was released in 1980. Ozzie had been kicked out of the band and starting his solo career at that point. Neon Knights, Children of the Sea, Lonely is the Word and the title track are my favorites from this album.

It's a good song and a remarkable story. I do like your reaction and do like that you wear your very fine traditional clothing! ❤ Ps check out "the Defence of Moscow" and the "Night Witches". Kind regards from Jonas Gothenburg Sweden. 😊

A quick clarification. A person was not automatically a Nazi because Germany was his birth and homeland. A person is not automatically a democrat because he lives in a democracy. In the USA there are marches by local right-wing extremists who parade with the swastika flag. Locals not Germans. It is not where they are born that determines who or what they are, but rather how they act. My father was a tank soldier in the German Wehrmacht from 1941 at the age of 17 and later raised us children, I am 62, to be absolute supporters of democracy. Learn and understand and draw the right conclusions. Stigler was not a Nazipilot but a pilot in the German Air Force. I don't want to sugarcoat anything at all, especially since three members of my family didn't survive Nazi rule.

I have NEVER once in my life, hear they are pro nazi? Where'd you hear that if I might ask? They make music about anything, about the Polish, Russians, British, US, Belgians, basically.. about anything you can think of.. Who said that I'm genuinely curious, again I never heard about that.. that's so weird

Unfortunately there are some people who will accuse you of being 'pro Nazi' without any evidence of it. Rammstein has been constantly accused of it despite being vocally left wing. (Incidentally Sabatton loathes Nazi's and are the one group they never say anything the moral greyness of War applying to. 'The Last Battle' omits the SS officer who'd turned and fought against the SS (which is fair, if you volunteering out on that uniform you are out of the human race for good)).
