Classical musician here with 60 years performing experience. Have heard this song umpteen billion times and this is by far my favorite rendition and cover. Can't say enough good about these incredible musicians. Only discovered these guys about a week ago and fell in love with their first note. I give them a 15,000 out of 10.

This has been on my playlist since last year. What a fabulous voice. They don’t disappoint in their other music either.

I just saw them live in Pittsburgh a couple of nights ago. They are FANTASTIC! Lead singer has a 4 octave range. Original music to listen to: The Man Devil's Choir Let Me Breathe Behind The Moon Day That I Die Me, Myself & Monster Covers: Halleleujah Sex & Candy (very bluesy) Fat Bottom Girls Folsom Prison Blues

My score was 11.9. I was raised in a music store for 45 years. Listening to every genre of music. Stay yourself. It's all good. This was the coolest thing I have ever heard and seen in a classic music song remake. Maybe beside Seethers remake of George Michaels song, Careless Whisper which blew my mind. Better than the original.

Holy hell, that was great. Dude's voice is unreal, and you're right, they definitely put their own spin on it.

This song turned small town titans into one of favorite bands. Do not underestimate them ❤

Hey Dave. You may hear from the lead vocalist. He likes to reach out to reactions of his music. Hope he does. They are great guys and this is one of their most well known songs. They have a bunch of other great tunes to listen to, but I can’t recommend them to you, so maybe someone else will and I can jump on. Love hearing them perform. Have a great day Dave.

Haven't heard of this band before but they did a good job on this cover and you could tell they were having fun with it. The vocalist was definitely a stand out for me, and the surprise harmonies at the end were also well done. I haven't heard too many covers of this song, with the only other one I can think of off the top of my head is an acapella version by I think either Ernie Haase & Signature Sound or the Gaither Vocal Band, I forget which. Overall, they did a good job. As for it being a Christmas song in June, it's not that big a deal. After all, the games Wizard101 and Pirate101 (sister MMOs set in the same universe called the Spiral) often host an event titled Christmas In July every year, which is exactly what it sounds like. P.S. This is unrelated but are there any Falling Up or Divide Music songs in the queue? I honestly can't remember if I requested them or not. Thanks in advance.

There's one request for a Falling Up song called "Rangers" in the que. It was requested by David Wellman.

I have another suggestion: a brazilian rock band called Far From Alaska, which sings in English and has an excellent female singer (Emmily). It is really hard to define their sound because it has a lot of experimentation in their music. Here's a song from Far From Alaska, a collab with another brazilian band called Scalene (it does not necessarily reflect their "regular music" because it's a collab with another band, but it's a nice song and I think you'll enjoy it!): kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZeVfZ6AZc5lm7c

I don't see that one in the que, so it would have to be a fresh request. You can suggest songs on here, and if your suggestion happens to already be in the que, I am more than happy to add your name to the requesters of that song. However in order to make fresh brand new requests, you have to be a Bronze Tier member on the Patreon page. It's only $5 per month and you can make fresh requests, along with watch all the videos I've done that KZbin blocked and participate in Patreon community events and enjoy exclusive content for Patreon members only.

Nope. Not sure what everyone else is "hearing" but it was less than "alright" for me-- especially the vocals. I'll stick with the Thurl Ravenscroft classic or Sixpence's moderately cheery update.
