The mom and son in orange at the gas station are actually Hmong. They have a unique dialect because they're from Vietnam and I'm from America. But I'll try to translate a little, just for the hell of it. 26:44 The mom asks her son, "How are you gonna say it to him?" Before the kid comes up with "1? 2?" (as in, do you want 1liter or 2 liter? as indicated by the markings on the container). 27:30 The kid is saying "when he (you) closed the lid, he closed it unevenly. One side is lower than the other." Most of everything else, the mom is too far away to hear properly translate.

I crashed my motorcycle on the Ha Giang loop going about 40mph after sliding on a random patch of gravel. My entire left side was covered in blood. Thankfully no broken bones. The motorcycle helmet cracked in half on impact, saving my life. Thankfully the bike was still operable. Not having any real clue where to go, I found a small clinic in a nearby town where they treated my wounds. The hospital bill was only about $4.50 and I paid in cash haha. I decided to return to the US to convalesce. Rode very cautiously back to Hanoi and jumped on the first flight back home

happened to my friend as well in Bali, we were far out in the mountains and I had to tear apart my swim shorts to patch him up lol. Size absolute overpowering size and dramatic quality of the mountains in Vietnam CANNOT be overstated or exaggerated. The artistic qualities/the beautiful curvature and sheer scope of those mountains is truly magical in nature. It's a hard living to exist there but as far as aesthetic beauty goes, it's the place people couldn't even dream/fathom being a real place. It's THAT beautiful and awesome inspiring.
@Castlevaniac110 ай бұрын
Quick tip for your next vietnam trip: rent a semi automatic bike. They are just as cheap (sometimes cheaper, because people prefer the automatic scooters), but they are much better for traversing the more mountainus regions, because you can change gears up or down accordingly

The reason you crashed is because you broke too hard and washed yourself out on the dirt before you even got to the little ditch. You would have been fine if you held speed and matained a steady throttle. The most important thing to maintain traction on a bike is steady smooth throttle and breaks.
