I remember when chloe found out about Clark lois gave her the advice of don't tell your friend that you know but support him and be a good enough friend that he will one day tell you himself, it great to see lois is following her own advice.

It was Jor El's way of motivating him. Tell him he's going to fail. That he's already lost. Not all Kryptonians are evil but most of them seem to be assholes. The they juxtaposed that with the way Jonathan Kent motivated him.

I’ve seen the entire show before and I was like “okay Clark’s dad comes back sometime in season 10 I think it’s the finale” so I’m watching episode one and I was so shocked and started tearing up. That episode was so good

I'm not sure how much you remember from season 1, but Lex used Cadmus Labs in season 1 for a corporate maneuver. And we have seen the Luthors meddle with cloning before. I may have complaints about this season and this episode, but I think they tried to pull out some stops and callbacks for this premiere.

I was 9 when episode 1 came out and 18 when this episode debuted and it was the first one to make me tear up at the end. John Schneider was beautiful and much needed in this episode. Many more Great Moments to come.

This episode was incredible. So many fantastic moments and scenes. Personally I think Clark was ready to become Superman at this point but they had to postpone it for this last season to be possible. Jor El was being unreasonably critical of Clark considering he just made the ultimate sacrifice as a hero. And the way Lois found out was the best in the series. She found out on her own by recognizing Clark’s kiss whereas Chloe and Lana just secretly saw him use his powers. Lana specifically set Clark up to be caught

Finally caught up with you. This episode does come out of nowhere, with Lex and Jonathan making an appearance (one way or another) but it fits the narrative of the final season. It's going to be one hell of a ride.

It’s crazy how we all get attatched to these characters. Everytime i see something about Jonathan i cry. Their father-son connection is deep. So sad that it’s almost over. The ending will be emotional as hell 😫 can’t wait to see you cry lol 🤪

That scene when jonathan was working on the fence I stopped seeing John Schneider as Bow Duke and started seeing him as Jonathan Kent. Chores Clark work keeps a man honest that line and seeing him broke me.

If you have the DVDs you should watch the episodes with audio commentary from various cast members. Those are pretty good, too. Also, can we talk about the soundtrack for this show? I don't mean the instrumentals, I mean the songs they chose over the years. Everything from Avril Lavigne to Vast, from Lonestar to Sara Bareilles and almost everything in between. The show runners were REALLY great at that, just like they were really good with the emotional stuff, too.

Something tells me that, “Because it HAS been done by HIM”. That’s probably the Martian that we see at the end of the episode. It wouldn’t be the first time he’s shape shifted. Remember season 9, when he posed as Waller, when caught in that fire trap? I’m not trying to ruin anyone’s opinion, I promise that I’m just giving mine. Like I said, it HAS been done before, and we DID see it, in season 9. 🙏🙏

Yeah the part with Oliver was kinda disappointing are they really not going to explain what those red dots are moving really fast too. Yeah he fell a long way even if yeah he survived that fall wouldn't there be cracks in the pavement if not a crater how tall was that building? Love that Lois finally knows but not letting on that she does. Clark and Lois are perfect. Loved the ending missed Jonathan so much so cool he's part of this season at least a little bit. Wish that could happen to me look up and see my father for a minute and get to chat with him. That'd be so cool.

That Fortress of Solitude can drop the temperature in and around it (Jor-El was going to freeze Chloe to death), turn back time, give people telepathic powers, cryogenically freeze Kryptonians, and *SPOILER ALERT* transfer Clark's powers and DNA to someone else i.e. Lois. Zod and later Clark flew up through the Fortress and broke part of its roof. Since the Fortress is magical and creates itself from a tiny crystal, I think it can be assumed it can repair itself, and repaired the console, as well as did some clean-up for the broken one.

Sucks they didn't michael back to play lex but this guy playing the clone does really good he got the mannerisms down from behind he looks like lex. Too bad he wasn't in more of this but cool what they did with him he led from smallville but also from movies similar scenario he's putting Clark in like in original superman movie either save Lois or save people no he'll save everyone
