Yeah, people don’t give the CPUs enough credit. I remember trying to do G&W's Classic Mode the other day and this Luigi CPU almost pulled off the 0-death on me. CPUs in Smash either just picked up the game like last week or have been playing longer than any human possibly could’ve and there’s no in-between.

I’m pretty sure CPUS become better as you do. I have 1300 and 5 hours or something on ult and I play mostly against CPUs and they’re Better than 90% of any player I’ve ever played, the only thing that’s weird is they’ll jump out of hit stun sometimes and airdodge a lot, but I also noticed that the more I played and evolved the more they did as well to the point where they mix up edgeguards, ledge trap, tech chase, recovery mix ups, and use FF aerials out of hitstun. Also lvl 8 CPUs are FAR superior to LVL 9 since they play more human like and also play their character more like how they’re supposed to be played

Honestly, I missed the original AI's when the game came out. They were so OP. (Although, a bit unplayable.) Now though, they are much easier. (sometimes a bit too easy honestly. Other times, too hard. Seems pretty random now.) Edit: I seemed to be a bit unclear in OP. I'd like to see it in the game as an extra difficulty or something. (Like maybe level 10?) I find AI vs AI very fun to watch. With pure logic/skill, it does provide some useful information on the characters.

If you’ve got AI taking stocks and games off the best players (respective to their smash game) in the world, how the hell does 12 year old little timmy have any chance in being able to unlock his favorite character on Christmas morning? We’re lucky game patches are a thing. But also, I’m sure they just lowered the CPU base Level when you’re trying to unlock a new character. I think the busted AI is still available if you set them to level 9.

Bruh the second cpu puff did the biggest brain play ever. When Ike was holding shield puff jump n-air over his shield and baited the Ike to drop shield, and then the puff aerial drifts back to Ike and gets the rest for the win. Sheik's final smash is interesting as it doesn't send them in front of you, like you'd think, but it actually sends them behind you, which makes it quite unique with how it launches
