D’Arcy always cracks me up with her snarkiness and with how completely unintimidated she is by Corgan (as compared to Iha and Jimmy). It’s sad knowing this is only about a year before she went off the rails :(

Samantha Donaldson hahaha. I get the sense Billy was attracted to her but I don’t think the feeling was mutual lol. They definitely have a weird chemistry tho lol

These days D'arcy is still unintimidated by Billy lmao. She recently spoke out against him when he said that she burned all bridges between her & the band. She said something to the affect of, 'he's money hungry, he's changed for the worse'. I think she even mentioned James changing into a dickhead in her eyes. It's nice to know that she still speaks her mind all these years later.

I've always loved the sardonic attitude/humor of the Smashing Pumpkins. They were truly a one of a kind during the era they came out in. Totally reinvigorated the scene, and I wasn't even born until the late nineties, but I know from listening to their music compared to other music coming out at the time that they brought something new and beautiful.

I still find it strange because i don't easily identify with a lot of Billy's beliefs, but i feel like he's one artist that i really get. I'm not "spiritual" or anything like that but maybe other than Neil peart billy somehow makes the most sense to me
@JJ-ze6vb Жыл бұрын
Sorry but what are you talking about? You did not experience the nineties but wax on about the scene? Come on kid.
@abbiwils Жыл бұрын
@@JJ-ze6vb More importantly why are you replying to a comment I made 4 years ago? Also you sound very elitist and stuck up just so you know. Appreciating music has nothing to do with age.

That's what made her great
@cygnustsp4 жыл бұрын
@@emilyhardy96 she could bring some sense of style and attitude to the band, but she seemed to try too hard to clash with billy, just like the very beginning. Billy is the band, what he says goes. It's just the way it was, is, and always will be
@RandyRhoadsRules34 жыл бұрын
cygnustsp Billy is an egomaniac. D’Arcy stood up to him. She wasn’t meanspirited, she just didn’t take BS and had a sardonic sense of humor.
