What fixed my bad shoulder impingement was physio bands, followed by dead hanging on a pull up bar, and finally Macebell 360s and steel clubs. No more pain, and bullet proof shoulders stronger than ever.

I found you 4 days ago. I left a comment then removed it. I’ve done your exercises for the past 3 days...and I’m sitting here doing my own thing and just realized ...I have no pain right now!! So I came back just to let you know.....This is beyond me, bc for a year my shoulder has made me literally angry. It amazes me how someone like you can fix me and yet....obviously doesn’t even have this injury. . A million TYS!!!!

Did you have shoulder impingement ?
@imambaybars3405
@imambaybars3405 4 жыл бұрын
I've had impingement in both shoulders for years now, and have tried many different exercises without much relief, the only thing that worked for me is hanging from a pull-up bar, (best with neutral grip for static hanging or classic grip for swinging) for a few minutes which can be broken into shorter periods but should add up to at least 2-3 minutes for beginners, relieves about 60 percent of the pain on the first day, and gets better with time but you need to be consistent with it. There's a shoulder surgeon who wrote a book on this treatment after conducting trials on his patients and most resolved it without surgery just by hanging.

Yeah I agree mate, I’ve got a partial tear in supra spinatus and labrum, also bursitis. Hanging has made more difference than every other movement together. Also doing a sub scap release under armpit seems really good too.

@Ilir Cami Depends on the setting you work in, but yes, TBI is a common diagnosis to see especially in the hospitals. As OTs, we tend to focus a lot on the upper extremities when it comes to biomechanics and rehab. But it’s only just a small percentage of the vast amount of areas we can address in this profession.

Simply hanging from a bar fixed my impingement issues. Suffered for six months before discovering this simple fix. Simply hang for 30 seconds three times before and after your workout. If you can’t support your body weight use a low bar so you can use your legs to support some of the weight.

I battled my shoulder pain for over 6 months I went from my doctor to my chiropractor to physical therapy with little to no success. I came across your video yesterday p.m. I performed the exercises outlined in your video while watching you do them and by the end of the video I was able to move my arm and shoulder past a point that it hadn't been in over six months! btw I am not an emotional person by any stretch, but this sense of relief made my eyes tear up a little. I say that only because you help to get rid of a problem I had and honestly thought I was stuck with forever. My shoulder is not at 100% YET but at least I know it can be thanks to you. I am continuing your exercises today and moving forward. THANK YOU! -RUDY

I've started going to a gym since the end of January, and just actually using my muscles has made a big difference. BUT, I can't do your move #4 at all, I can't get my arms up and back onto the wall - I have a bit of scoliosis that I assume is causing the issue. I look forward to seeing how the rest of the moves work for me though. I plan on checking out your other videos as well, thanks for the help and advice!

Hi Trevor, I have battling shoulder impingement pain for more than a year. I was just about ready to see a physical therapist but came upon your video about a week ago. I carefully watched your video 2 - 3 times and wrote down your exact instruction. I completed fixes 1 - 5 every other day as you suggested. After day 2 I was feeling much better and after day 3 I was amazed at the results. As you suggested, I will be doing fixes 1 - 5 three times a week for the rest of my life. I am 65 and have a few other issues from years of sports/exercise and injuries. I look forward to better knees and other injury/weakness locations. Thanks so much and I will be getting the word out concerning your awesome instruction. Thanks again!

This is incredibly helpful. I've been doing a lot of pushups and heavy bench press and overhead press for years, and always left shoulder stability as an afterthought. The net effect of that is big front delts and rounding internally rotated shoulders. Well the bill has come due after 2 decades of neglect and I'm now getting impingement or a possible partial tear (ruled out complete tear, but MRI is slated). I'm now starting my rear delt/stability work thanks to this video and others contributing to collective PT wisdom. Definitely what KZbin was meant for.

Hello! I've been doing some of these for years. On the Vees against the wall that you showed - I visited a chiropractor once and showed him what exercises I did and he said on that Vee I should keep my spine as straight as possible, no arching back, if needed bring knees more forward, almost like a wall squat. Apparently it's most important. Regardless, if you do keep your attention on your spine being straight, this exercise becomes so much harder to do therefore you can feel a burn after 15, maybe 20 reps.

Believe it or not, this might be the most important post you'll read Everyone of us has broken God's moral law, the Ten Commandments. We have all lied, stolen, hated and lusted. And James 2:10 states that breaking one of the Commandments makes us guilty of breaking them all. Problem is, we can never outweigh our sins through good works because the Creator is perfect in Holiness, meaning His standard is far above ours. And He is also perfect in Justice, meaning not a single sin will go unpunished. And the punishment of sin is being cast into hell, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth with no end. Ever. Fortunately, God is also perfect in love, so 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ left His throne in Heaven and came to this earth as a man. He lived a perfect, sinless life and He so loved us, that He took the punishment of our sin, when He suffered horribly on the cross. Isaiah 53 tells us that his face was marred beyond recognition and that he suffered more than any man. But right before His death, Jesus said "It is finished" meaning the the debt for our sins was paid in full. But on the 3rd day, Jesus conquered death and He was resurrected. So that means now, we can go free from the wrath of God's judgment not by earning it, but rather as a free gift of grace, if you accept Jesus. But, a gift can either accepted or rejected. So if you want to accept the free gift or forgiveness, of grace, and of salvation, this is what you should do: Humbly admit to God that you have sinned against Him, and through gratitude in the sacrifice of His Son, repent (turn away) from your old sinful ways. Then, confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, your Savior. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and was resurrected 3 days later. Roman's 10:9 and 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 says that if you do this you are saved. I'm not telling you to get religious, because Christianity is not a religion, but a relationship with God. And the moment you do this, God will grant you a new heart, which does not take pleasure in sin and He will give you eternal life. Nothing on this earth even close to compares to what awaits believers. What you do with this information will determine where you will be for Eternity; meaning accepting Christ is the single most important decision you'll EVER make. And all of us here, believer or atheist, know that this is very true. Jesus Christ wants YOU to come to Him this very moment; don't even think about sleeping until you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, because your tomorrow isn't guaranteed. You could die at any moment. Hebrews 9: 27 "It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this, the Judgment." All praise and honor to Jesus Christ, King of kings, Lord of lords.

3 in 1 and human sacrifice and suicidal god ain't the answer. Do some research into the history of the Bible. I invite you and everyone to research into Islam and accept the one unique Creator that is unlike anyof it's creation.

I’ve been doing this for about a year and it’s changed everything for me . I am a delivery driver (I drive a semi 48 footer) and have to move 20-30 thousand pounds of product by hand into restaurants every day . If it weren’t for these exercises on top of my workouts I would be a cripple. Thank you so much.

Arch your back when you bench to reduce range of motion, or stay straight then if the back will hurt, but use smaller range of motion. Some might say that this is cheating the bench, but will work. In time the shoulder will get better and you should be able to bench normally from time to time -doing normal bench often will make the pain come back, though, so say goodbye to strict bench as the norm, like you people did in the past. Recovery exercises shown by chiropractors all kind of positions and elasticity and whatever will work to a small degree. This is why there is such a great range of them (exercises) all designed for so called "shoulder impingement fix", because there is no factual remedy for that problem.

Hands down the best external rotation sequence I have come across. As a swimmer and a coach, just one round relieved my shoulders. I'm the kind of guy that will do this religiously form now on, just as I do my other exercises religiously. this will replace the one dimensional exercises. I'll report back later. As a footnote, the direct advice is so golden. lol. Love it.

This problem is very common and much easier to fix than you think or indicated. This is often an A/C (acromial clavicular) joint irritation and it is from the subclavius muscle locking down the clavicle and limiting it's motion. So the now limited movement of the clavicle attaching to the very mobile scaplae causing a lot of irritation at the attachment point, which is the A/C joint. The easy fix is to perform deep tissue massage to the subclavius muscle. It will hurt the first few times so keep the treatment light and short. Do a little more each time and you will have normal motion and no pain in time. As a physician, I have fixed this problem hundreds of times. You may want a professional to do the work. Sometimes it is a simple impingement of the supraspinatus tendon. Deep-tissue work to the supraspinatus muscle allows the humorous to drop downand away from the acromion and stops the irritation.

For almost 3 month i am suffering from an endless, itching pain in my left shoulder after i did a benchpress machine with heavy weights in the gym. I quickly found out that this has to be an impingement. I looked up many videos and many excercises that should have helped by now. None of these actually did. The first excercise in the this video allready gave me an instant release. I will start and continue all of the excercises and see where this goes. But i am certain, i finaly found a solution. So thank you so much for sharing this. I'll get back here in a couple weeks to let you know if finaly got rid of that damn impingement.

I see some really good advice on this video & in the comments. I've suffered from a pinched nerve in my left shoulder for years now. It comes & goes. But when I exercise I can keep the problem in check. I finally figured out what caused it. it's my desk job. Sitting in front of a computer all day. Some of the exercises that have worked for me is wide grip lat pulldowns, chinups, dumbbell raises, lateral dumbbell raises, & shrugs. I'm going to try the exercises shown here

I have been a lifter for over 40 years. I had rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder 25 years ago...I had my appendix out a few years ago.. the shoulder surgery was worse and it was just for an impingement.. Did the stupid things at the time that my therapist told me is the worst for shoulders .. behind neck presses, pulldowns and heavy barbell bench. Never did those again after the surgery. I’m turning 60 next year and still lifting. I used to play tennis but stopped because of issues with my right shoulder. Because of COVID, and not being able to go to gym, I decided to try again ... was going ok for a while , until the one swing led to that dreaded pain on top of my shoulder... l did your tests.. the pain l feel is on the way down. Since my left surgery, I have always been worried about my right. I hope your regimen works. Thanks for posting.... for all you lifters out there don’t do anything behind your neck. It will lead to problems at some point.

I've had uncontrollable seizure clusters for 22+ years and my muscles get VERY tweaked and tight afterwards and I must release them and the best way to do that is use them again with some exercise. Usually the longest lasting pain is Anterior Pelvic Tilt which hurts like a mofo. Recently, the after-pain has switched to Impingement in my right shoulder. The pain lasts for a longtime until I have another seizure, then usually migrates to another muscle region. The exercise movements you presented have helped immensely and instantly also. THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS IN BEING A HEALER!!!!!
