其实我对于那种特别夸张的大笑或者阳光的人的第一感受都是,他们或者有抑郁症。。我觉得面对抑郁有一件事如果做对了就会对自己有很大的帮助就是允许自己情绪的存在,允许自己fall,但是很多人因为工作压力等是没有让自己fall的机会的。很信奉这句话 you have to feel in order to heal
I had depression after given birth. Pressure is the role. All the unnecessary pressure, judgement from families/friends/relatives/jobs made you feel not good enough. The way is stay away from them. Stay away from their expectation NOT your own expectation. Remember you are you, individual you. Live for yourself, love yourself and do what you like or love. Let go all these unnecessary expectation from others and live day by day. No fear is the key. Just be brave and live day by day for YOURSELF not others not even your husband. Meaning of life is just to live day by day with little simple happiness. Thats enough. No fear is the key, don't let other to give your fear.

Thank you for sharing your diagnosis, most Chinese are taught to hide their feelings, especially something like depression, they feel shameful to reveal and seek appropriate help.
