6:54 but don't you have to use that vacuum cap to plug your air box, there is 2 spots on the air box to plug? the ais and where the crank case breather reservoir goes into. kinda confused about that

I don’t have a dust cap to plug the exposed AIS electrical wire at 3:00. Is it okay to just seal it off with tape?

What is the purpose of extending the crankcase breather hose?

it's does a few things, takes the oil vapors away from the intake which can lead to intake valve and piston crown carbon deposits and routs the outlet to a place where any smoke can be seen and investigated. as with all of these mods, they are optional and may or may not be desirable for all riders and all bikes. all mods and items shown here are for closed competition race use only

i would love to buy this kit without the graves plate since i have it already installed on my 24 RL. I wonder if tacomoto would make that an option

@@lancerambertIt's not just the hose that i need. This is my example of why i want the kit. i dont have time to source all the hose and piece it together, don't get me wrong here, I'd love to save some extra cash and get everything local. It's not only the hoses i want / need. The "dummy plugs" are something I wish I could have got with the graves block off plate ( having the air injection plug open to the elements ) and the kick start jumper is also a nice addition to my bike. including the little black plugs for the air intake instead of using a random screw (looks much cleaner) Electric tape fades and melts over time, I would never use that to block off a vacuum port on my bike. The hose for the tank has a nice one-way valve. Having already paid $30 for the plate and not wanting to have another graves plate sitting on my desk is why i was asking for a similar kit. but i do see the downfall of not having the plate in the kit. People will buy it and expect the decel pop to be gone not installing the plate and be confused as to why it still pops and pings down the road. i did purchase my block off plate before this kit came out. thats why im hoping taco moto will make that option. i just Purchased a GET SX1 ecu and im loving the bike. now if i can remove the canister and other Misc stuff on the bike i would be finished doing anything to my 24 RL ATM ***Update lol i just checked the website and they did add the option THANK YOU Taco moto i will be buying the kit love you guys

no you're not using anything that you take off from the ais.

I would love to know how many people got stranded because of the canister. Sounds to me like a justification myth

less of a stranding problem and more of a maintenance issue as bikes have had vacuum hoses cut, burn or pull off and the engine sucks in dirty unfiltered air. bikes can also have the canister fill up with liquid fuel from ta tip over and be virtually impossible restart. all mods and items shown here are for closed competition race use only

It’s known the kickstand and/or a full canister can make the bike not start or hard start.

@@MobMoto I don’t know why we now talk about sidestands. But how about missing spark? Or toasted cam? They will also make your engine not start. I am saying how many people ever got stranded in the real world because of a full canister?

@@ogoshikimura5621one confirmed we know of, had to be towed out of a mountain pass in Colorado then trucked to a dealer and charged a few hundred to replace the canister after it filled w fuel from a tip over crash and wouldn’t start. This kit would have saved his ride
