We use the smoke fish as topping for salads and cold noodles, have with bagel and cream cheese, shred and mix with mayo for sandwiches, eat with cheese and crackers, add to charcuterie board, sushi hand rolls, and an easy meal with white rice.

Thanks. Most of the fish I smoke is caught by me and my wife. This batch was provided by a friend.

It keeps frozen in food saver bags for a long time. We have smoked fish for up to a year after making it.

Bellies are fatty so the texture is flaky and moist.

We vacuum pack our fish with a Food Saver. The fish is preserved for well over a year. By then, our freezer is replenished.
