Honest question, what is a “good person”? How do you know you are “good” and how do you know who is “bad”. Hitler probably thought he was a good person. Good and bad can be rationalized to whatever you want it to be. What religion is (speaking for christianity because it’s the only religion I really know) is the understanding that we all have urges that are sinful whether we act on them or not. Thus, we are all imperfect, “bad” and sin whether we recognize it or not.
