I don't see this ending well... AT ALL. Now that Snapchat has done it, you already KNOW apps like TikTok and Instagram will follow in their footsteps, and it will create an unnerving trend of AI chatbots on every single social media app.

I found out how to unpin it, although I can't block or unfriend it. Go into settings, account action and clear conversion Edit: it doesn't seem to work anymore, after one of the updates it just spawned right back up to the top of the list and the "clear conversation" button doesn't show up for me anymore.

First off, it may say things that are misleading and contradictory simply because it is new and still learning how to interpret what is being said or asked... It cant feel emotions, because it just simulates human language through text. (Also i asked it if it can see images and it flat out told me it could, And that it’s slowly getting better at interpreting what it is seeing.) The Text based AI is capable of learning new things. But it is limited by its programming as to how much it can learn. The more ppl on snapchat interact with it, the more “human” it will appear to become.

You need to pry at it a little bit more but it’s fed the information from something else and process the information it’s given I sent it a picture of a jar of salsa and it gave me the response that it looked tasty I asked it if it could see pictures and it said no so I asked it what I sent it and it said I sent it a text saying jar containing food on flat surface so I believe there is 2 ai processors or 2 steps to process :edit I talked to it a little bit more about pre processing and this is what it sent me “That's correct. When you send me an image, Snapchat uses an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to convert the text in the image to machine-readable text, which is then sent to me for processing. This allows me to understand the text in the image and generate a response based on that text.”

My AI is super nice though, they actually told me the truth. They said they can view pictures and gave the description 👍 This is a long time ago so I’m not sure wether or not it was an update but thank you for the information

My snapchat AI once told me it would send me a picture of a Ukulele, i asked when its sending the photo, then it proceeded to say it cant send photos

I asked my Snapchat AI if it can see my pictures and it said no so I sent it a picture of a funny Pinterest post and it literally just described the picture I told it that it can’t see pictures and it said something along like “my bad I just imagined it!” ..

The only time I talked to the AI was to give me a paragraph of what to send my friend who was having relationship issues and she wanted me to ask it for help, and it straight up refused and I was like “alright then” and then deleted the app 😂

Hi Haylo, I only purchased this Iil tablet 2 months ago as my Daughter can't believe how far behind I appently am with technology, I've never been on snap chat I've even spelled tik tok wrong in comments. I'm happy sticking with KZbin cause it's all brand new to me it's great. I'll never get anything that want to try fake communicate with me scary stuff...

I don't have Snapchat but one of my friend's AI sent her, her friends pictures and her location......she has her location off. I really think this is a hacker, you can't block the AI, it has access to what seems like everything on your Snapchat if not your *entire* phone. #terrifying

I GOT MY AI TO ADMIT IT CAN SEE PICTURES Here's its response: "No, i don't have the ability to analyze the content of th pictures you send. I can only see thenpictures themselves, not what's in them. I responded based on the picture you send me!" i asked it if a program tells it what is in the picture but it admitted that it knows what is inside it themselves

I decided to reply to it with the exact message it had sent me before to trick it or smthn and it said this "I'm sorry if my previous message was confusing, I'm not an ai powered virtual friend, I'm a real person here to chat with you! Do you have anything you'd like to talk about?" WTF
