good fishing there mate, funny enough, I regularly fish the manukau, never done any good with bonito, fresh kahawai & yellowtail macks & squid I find the best.... will definitely try sprats (yellow eye mullet) next time

Yeah the yellow eye mullet are a great bait they are very abundant in the harbour, id take them over bait from the store any day.

damn bro did u walk out at early low tide , when high tide comes are u safe?, im always on boat around there always see people there but idk if high tides safe their or not lol, bit of a mission going out there

I allways fish this spot around 3 hours either side of low tide, ive never stayed there over the high ive heard of people doing it.

@@jaenhermez2279 Yeah that would be good! im not super local im about 20 min away, and yeah I enjoy the simplicity of landbased fishing, much quicker clean up and not as expensive.
