Sniper Elite: Resistance - 15 New Gameplay Details You NEED TO KNOW Before You Buy

Sniper Elite: Resistance is the latest entry in developer Rebellion’s long-serving World War II themed stealth-come-military shooter. It’ll plunge players once again during the latter stages of World War II, with new missions across newly designed territory the fodder to engage in the series’ award-winning advanced sniping mechanics and tactical third-person gameplay.
There’s an element that Sniper Elite: Resistance is DLC for Sniper Elite 5 repackaged as a fully-fledged game, and whilst, yes, there isn’t a boatload of innovation here, Sniper Elite: Resistance does feature a handful of novel innovations which we’ll go through in this feature. The game’s out January 30th to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms, and it’s looking to do just enough to justify itself as a worthy entry in the storied series.

See I love stealth games. I mostly play Hitman and the one thing I love about that game is Contract mode. I would love to see a sniper elite version of this. Give players a freelance (also a mode in hitman) of a map, pick it targets and maybe a few objectives. Also a rating would be nice, like reward players for stealth play or even wiping out a map. I played a lot of SEV but after about 200 hours it got repetitive so quick due to the forced targets and objective system. I always love when developers can give a sandbox title to the players and mess around with it.

SE5 was and still is a daily play for me on no cross, its an excellent game. I think people would have been happy with some new maps for multiplayer on SE5, but as a Brit, I'm looking forward to a British main character and some British weapons. It's a great series of games. Looking forward to the other Rebellion game coming out on Game Pass day one as well, Atomfall? Set in the Lake District, looks great too.

I think it’s more like SE5a rather than SE6 and the major difference is SE5 uses the early Hispano Suiza 8 software rather than the later Wolseley Viper game engine which helps the frame rate run faster.

i only have 3 issues with this game. 1. why are we not the main guy from all the other games it’s dumb to just drop a character we spent so much time with. 2. the new character model looks like a created character from a ps3 wrestling game. his eye movements are so over the top. his eyes are open so much he looks like the cartoony version of someone who does too much coke. 3. the maps look downgraded. look more like ps4 than ps5. i love this franchise but i can easily say this looks like the least interesting of them all. seems slapped together and rushed out the door. most likely not the usual main character to save money on not having to honor his agreed paid amount in his contract. Or worse yet he will be hidden behind a paid dlc paywall or some bs.
