2 stones is not ONLY 😁
@AnataWaDareDesuKa5 жыл бұрын
Sylwia Kaźmierczak Depends on where you measure from. If I would gain 2 stone, my BMI would still (but barely) be in the healthy range. So calculating overweight in that way, me weighting 2 stone extra wouldn’t be too bad. Bad if 2 stone overweight is calculated being (barely) in the ‘healthy range’, I could be 4 stone heavier than I’m now, but be “2 stone overweight”. Then I wouldn’t say ‘only’, because I would be 84kg instead of 60kg. That would be almost half the weight I’m now EXTRA.
@roguenrawwellness76825 жыл бұрын
No because I’m in good shape. My BMI isn’t out of control, it’s in the overweight and not obese bracket. I walk over 33,000 steps a day, go to the gym, and did I mention I live in the US. I know people hundreds of pounds over weight so 20 pounds is nothing in comparison. But see as someone who has studied fitness and nutrition I know my somatotype falls at an even split between a mesomoroph and an endomoroph. My dad’s kids all tend to be very tall and very muscular endomorphs who might weigh 200lbs but are also 6 foot tall personal trainers in ridiculous shape. But see muscle weighs more than fat. While I’m the smallest sibling I am very short but muscular I still tip the scales 18lbs higher than I’d like, so I can’t quite work out how I can hit that “ideal weight,” but keep my muscle tone at the same time. I need muscle and endurance for what I do in a day, but I don’t want to go past a certain weight either it’s tricky.

I didn’t even have to stop eating ready meals, I just eat better ones now and don’t have any junk food snacks in between. Everyone is a different type of eater and it’s important to know which kind you are to find the method that works for you. Not every type of diet is going to work for everyone. I only recently discovered this, but I can't stop watching it. It's absolutely fascinating from a sociological perspective. I see a lot of people's poor choices as simple ignorance of basic nutrition, which should be properly taught in school. One thing I wish this show did was ask the participants, "How many calories do you suppose is in this meal?" I imagine that most people have no idea how much they're eating, calorically speaking. I used to be a personal trainer and I would have my clients give me food journals. Unfortunately, I had no idea how much people "lie" (to me as much as to themselves) and that they were basically worthless (the journals, not the clients). In fact, asking for food journals was probably detrimental to designing an overall diet and exercise plan. How can someone, with a straight face, ask, "Why am I putting on so much weight?" and at the same time eat microwave pizzas? Simply astonishing. Edit* I just watched the end of the episode. I am shocked to see that they weighed themselves on a scale that was on carpet... A sure fire way to lose weight is to weigh yourself on a scale that is on tile, and then not change anything about your normal routine. Then, a week later, put your scale on some shag carpet and weight yourself again.

@eb744610 ай бұрын
I mean as calorific as that, some DO eat garbage like that and are very thin because they don't eat regularly. If you eat way less than you need, processed garbage diet or not you will be thin. If you watch supersize vs superskinny you'll see how some of the "skinnies" have shocking diets. Devoid of plenty nutrients bit not necessarily low fat or sugar. If you only eat a quarter pounder, a few coffees and the odd snack within a couple days that's nowhere near enough calories, nevermind nutrients.

But I don't understand the other sister really, all she ate was takeaways - and often... What seriously sucks about the food industry is that, sure, it's better to grab the small bags but they make them almost the same price as the bigger bags and sometimes more!!! A 2 liter of coke is actually 1-2 dollars CHEAPER then a 20oz bottle. Not to mention if you decide to pay more for the smaller one for health reasons then you end up adding a lot more to the waste of the world. It's just a no-win situation and EXTREMELY frustrating. Growing up poor, you would NEVER buy the smaller items because you need to spend your money wisely. Not to mention many of the "healthier" options are more expensive so you end up eating processed unhealthy food. Sure, on a case by case basis, this stuff sound like a good and easy thing to do but it's not realistic for many families due to how the food industry has positioned itself. They want us to be gluttonous because it makes them more money. All that sugar and carbs create food addictions that are extremely hard to overcome. It's disgusting really. And the same people that are supposed to help, the people who monitor the food and drug industries, actually own stock in those same industries they are supposed to be monitoring or are on their boards. They have vested interests in the companies they are supposed to be making sure are doing the right thing. 😡😡😡
