Who says free-food decision-making increases exponentially to paid-food behaviour? If you're gonna claim to have results on human behaviour, test human behaviour as close to its natural environment as you can get. Failing on preliminary basic parameters does not encourage trust in gimmicky "scientific results".

When they were talking about the calories that people unknowingly get just in the liquid they drink every day I decided to count up mine. Apparently I am a secret eater. I am having at least 1,000 calories a day in just what I drink. I didn't add up the calories in what I eat because I was already upset over my liquid calories. I had no idea that I was consuming that many liquid calories.

@ayajade6683
@ayajade6683 5 жыл бұрын
@@uscgal04 wasn't talking about causing an entire country to starve themselves it's about those with eating disorders using this show for inspiration to starve themselves as many people with eating disorders site these types of shows as what they turn as inspiration to not eat or to use other means to lose more weight. Also no it shames people for food choices the host is really bad about vilifying entire foods which has been proven by registered dieticians and medical professionals as counterproductive as it creates an unhealthy relationship with food which often leads to disordered eating and binge eating after the honeymoon phase of a diet. That's why these shows were removed off the air in the first place

Jonathan Dickenheadson I know this is old as hell, but this isn’t r/fatlogic, it’s true. i’ve suffered, and known people who have suffered, with disordered eating most of my life and you’d be surprised. a huge number of people on eating disorder forums and who have eating disorders watch this show, as well as supersize vs. superskinny, to distract themselves from eating and inspire the will to starve.

Swap the fat laden mashed potato for a celery, cabbage, carrot, rocket, tomato, spring onion, pomegranate, sumac salad with a light dressing. Incorporate tons of melon and other fresh raw fruit instead of the cakes and choccy bars. The amount they were eating was fine. It was the amount of junk and semi-junk they were eating. Instead of eating nutritious foods with lower calorie densities.

What baffles me a little bit, is that many people on that show were claiming that cereal is a healthy breakfast. Not once did I hear the dietician commenting on that. Cereal is usually high in sugar and high in calories, so the portion that you are supposed to eat is very small so you get hungry very quickly. It's also a processed food item. Would be much more beneficial to eat some whole grain, fresh fruit, fresh veggies, eggs or white cheese.

We eat things we like like such as ice cream, chocolate and treats. It about moderation to us. We eat in restaurant 2-5 times a month. Basically all the advice can be boiled down to: ★ Be self aware/mindful and selfish when it comes to maintaining your health Know that pretty much anything ; poor sleep, emotions, company, variety, surroundings, etc can effect how much you'll eat and the speed at which you'll eat it And then learn to ignore it all, be separate from it and focus instead internally on what your own body is telling you as to whether it's hungry, bored, thirsty, etc. Guage portion size by your hand and not your crockery/cutlery Set your own pace, pause between well chewed mouthfuls and stop when full regardless on whether that means left food on your plate! Dont eat just because it's a certain time of day, or everyone else is, or because it's free Remember what you've already eaten, by having given every meal your full focus! Dont snack and avoid calorific or artificially sweetened drinks before, between or after meals. Mostly just be mindful rather than disconnected!

If she cut out on the massive monster energy drinks, she ll lose weight like crazy. I had a problem with them, but I would rely on them as meal replacements when I was too busy studying It kept me a lil thick but never above a size 5. Once I cut them, I lost sooooo much weight and I was unhappy until I started cooking again and making time for it, and now I m back from a size 2 to 4 Feels guud. I was scared my chest would forever be lost but its back. It's crazy how energy drinks can hurt u so bad like that. So like I m eating twice a day. It's a challenge I keep feeling full off of small portions but it's the price to pay over my destructive lifestyle. My diet is mostly eggs, organic bread, soups and salads. My boy is still not on board with a healthier lifestyle, I cook home meals for him, he likes it but he won't give up his sodas, chips and fries. But hey, he's happy♡ so ye

Size 5? I thought sizes were all even numbers. 2,4,6 etc...

@@katekamerun1550 Women's sizes are even. Only teenager sizes are odds in pants and dresses. Like YOUNG teenagers, aka Juniors. Look out for junior sizes in things like novelty tees/concert tees, too. You don't want that. It doesn't fit grown women right.

I promise you a 200 cal monster isn’t what’s making you overweight 😭 Unless you’re having multiple. Then you just have a sugary drink issue
