This is a stoat, it is in the same family - mustelidae- but it is not a ferret. It is still adorable though but also a fierce predator.

That first animal was a Weasel and in the winter they are called Ermine and where loved by Royalty because of their fierce fighting .

Hey guys so uh.. Yeah this ai garbaĝe doesn't know much. This is called a stoat, specifically we call these ermines. Their white coat and little black tails are big indicators. They are not ferrets, they are a brand of weasel

You should also take in mind before you get a ferret that they naturally stink, they don’t start to stink they just stink but washing them helps dim it down (you should maybe wash them once or twice a month because they have natural oils they need). You also need someone who stays home regularly to let them out and to clean their litter almost twice a day and make sure they have food and water at all times. They are also very curious so if you leave them out too long they’ll find a corner to fall asleep in (I once spent and hour looking for mine) ferrets are also social creature, you can’t just get one or it’ll be lonely (some cry when they don’t have a companion) please do research before considering one of these guys a lot of people have ferrets when they can’t take care of them.

Then you should know that you should almost never bathe a ferret, it will actually make them smell more and if you really need to bathe a ferret from like an accident (accidentally rolling in poop) then should only use oat's in a sock in the water...and they don't really stink like many think, I mean if you do the poop thing like you said, good food, and clean bedding weakly a new comer entering your house can barely tell you have one...I mean not too much different in smell's then having cat's or dog's in your house...if you sniff the ferret some actually smell really good, had one's that smelled like maple or grape soda...
