The study...this is that old question by those who have not given their lives to Jesus yet..."Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?" First, their are no good people. We are all born sinners and God allows us to go through trials to build character, to help others grow in their faith in the Lord and to continue to grow a deeper more personal relationship with God ourselves. As much as my trials have been seriously hard I wouldn't trade them for anything! These trials brought me to and (more importantly) keep me close to God. Praise the Lord for through my trials I have experienced a teeny tiny drop in a vast ocean of what Jesus allowed Himself to go through for my salvation. And to that I say praise the Lord and amen!

This disagreement between Paul & John Mark shows how we need to learn to agree to disagree agreeably. God will even use our differences to His Glory. I think it is so comforting to read how God shows me through the Bible that all of the men & women were fallen, sinful men who made blunders and decisions that weren't always right yet He still used them in amazing ways. What hope that gives me in spite of all my failures & thick headedness!! I can choose to praise God in spite of what I am in the middle of-whether it was my bad choice or a circumstance beyond my control. I can trust that God will hold my hand through it all and bring me out in a far better way than I could have hoped. Leslie, my condolences in the passing of your Aunt. What a legacy she has left you!

Yum...you have to try the Twinkie dessert. The same concept...cut a Twinkie separating the top from the bottom. Place the bottom in the pan, cover it with either box made or pre-made pudding cup (chocolate), whip cream, sprinkle with crushed heath bar then repeat with the other half of the Twinkie...YUM! Some call it better than sex cake...I just call it yummy...Lol!

I make something similar. using oreos. vanilla ice cream cool whip hershey syrup and nuts if you like. freeze overnight. always asked about it for church events
