Haha, you're a beast Andrew!! So many gems in this video. For me this time it was the lil baby snow blower, haha, with all the toys you have, of course you have that lil fella... Pushing the truck with the dozer, Noice!... Curious how you have so many toys... Dozers, mini x's, big x's, dump trucks, skid steers, and I mean plural of each... I know you own a business and you work hard, but you have a lot of toys/equiptment… It's like you always pull some big machine out and i'm like yep, of course he has one of them... My man!

That was some sweet editing when starting the CAT. The engine cranking was to the rhythm and it started the break down or drop or whatever. Very nice. Little thing like that set you apart from any old person video taping their work.

Rule of thumb when pulling a vehicle out is that it goes out the way it went in. So backwards in this video :-) Sure you knew that already and there were other reasons you went forward to get it back on the road. Looked like quite some work with basic tools. Marking the roads with guide sticks also helps with plowing (they are everywhere here at 63deg North during winter. They install them every fall and are like 5-10 meters apart) I have really enjoyed your videos tonight and learnt quite a few things from you. Thanks a lot!
@AndrewCamarata6 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yes, I agree. Markers would have prevented me from getting couple times here.

Andrew, consider putting a posi-traction differential into the rear axle of your Dodge . It's most likely a Dana 70 . I found the best price for it on Ebay and the installation kit. A posi unit in the rear axle of that truck will back a huge difference in your plowing.

Cool video I feel your pain brother been plowing a long time with a 7'6" straight blade little tip dont angle your blade all the way to one side 3/4 angle is all you need unless you are just cleaning up you get more toss and further and it's easier on the truck, plow and steering and you can push snow further and taller and it doesn't get your tires as close to the edge of the road less chance of dropping a tire and getting buried trust me this is constructive criticism not shit talking coming from a guy that has made many mistakes and had to figure it out by himself with no friends or heavy equipment just trying to share some knowledge to make your life a little more easier and profitable keep up the hard work and the good videos

Good amount of snow there, you still getting out on the sled? I made it to NH last weekend and got some sledding done. Pushing the truck was so worth a tail light fix.
@AndrewCamarata7 жыл бұрын
Mass Hole yeah I have been out a few times, I didn't bother making more snowmobile videos because people would probably be bored of that. The tail light got hit by backing into a tree during the hard snow when I couldn't see, and the first time I didn't make it up a steep hill, and slid backwards/sideways into a cliff, not when pushing that out. Those lights are cheap, they break often.

Great video man! That drone is making for some fantastic shots! And good thing for the dozer! Snow is always a challenge when you get dumped on like that! And I have the same two stroke Toro like you, baby gets on the pipe nice when the snow is deep like that! :D

BarnStangz yeah, it was a bit much snow, needed chains for many driveways, that Toro is nice.

Do you put chains on the front of the truck too? Wide open playing bobby hammer time is the best! Man I miss snow, we didn't get any this year. I like to play in it a few times, then it just becomes a pain in the ass. What other projects are you working on?
@AndrewCamarata7 жыл бұрын

I can see you letting it build up for the challenge it gives you with small equipment. I used an 08 chevy zmax 2 years ago to plow plus I had my 95 with a plow I broke I went through 3 sets of cv axles truck only had 70000 on it. 95 I've used for 6 years it had 192000 on it when I started plowing only replace front and back u joints and a alternator. If you haven't got rid of your dodge I wouldn't you wont be happy with a new one. Good video though.

41dodgee300 what? Always put chains on the back tires. I've never put them on front.
@41dodgee3006 жыл бұрын
Your gear ratios in the front are a point smaller than the back, when you enlarge the diameter of the rear by adding chains you can override the front causing it to put strain on xfer case and possibly break stuff, I've operated 4x4's and plowed snow for over 35 years and seen many people break drive trains doing what this guy is doing, lot of $'s to fix !!! If your going to chain it's front or both, you'll never break
