this is my first time animating a fight scene and it’s made in a budget chat (there’s a few mistakes and missing stuff but i was lazy and rushed this) the effects and camera shots look mediocre but this is all you’re getting, i just wanted to make an animation so i can make more people love dalv and undertale yellow (so yes this animation was made out of spite again) probably wont do this again lol
oh yeah some of the parts of this animation was inspired by @/ZipZedZiltch on twitter especially this part (i got some of the comic dub audio from here • 🌸Doki's Dubs🌸 ~ THE SN... )

​​​​@@nathanpierce7681wait now that I think of it, this might have been the reason on why chujin sent axis on integrity in the first place, I mean think about it, it's more likely that Kanako was not friends with dalv by the time of the attack, but rather that dalv came to her rescue, and to simplify my theory, picture this:dalv was either going to /returning from the honeydew resort, but then he started to hear the frantic screams of a little girl screaming "help, someone help, they're going to kill me", and that girl is Kanako, and before integrity kills her, dalv jumps in to defend Kanako and strikes integrity first, and just like in the animation, by the end of the fight, dalv collapses from his injuries on the ground, but before integrity gets any closer to Kanako, axis shoots down integrity and chase them to the waterfalls, the very same place where they died Edit :I'm even thinking that the reason on why chujin sent axis in the first place was because while he was fighting integrity, he got knocked out, and when he woke up, he realized that the last thing that he saw before blacking out was Kanako in the same, room, and knew that integrity was after his daughter, but when he tried to get up to give a chase and to save his daughter from integrity's wrath , he just couldn't because of his injuries, and so he called for axis saying "axis, I need you to go after that human and neutralize it before they hurt another monster" Edit 2:i just watched the tapes left by chujin, it's revealed that he didn't actually fight integrity, so sorry for any misunderstanding

I'd like to think that Integrity was actually a good kid, but the Monsters in the Underground may actually have been actively trying to kill her, and maybe she couldn't handle it, so it forced her to see them as evil and kill some of them, but only if necessary. I believe she just wants to go back to the surface as quick as possible.

A child fell down into a place where they're attacked by any monster they encounter (besides Toriel, maybe). It's only fair they fight back because they want to live. And after all, all of monsters are guilty one way or another. Even Ceroba herself admits this ain't how it works. Nobody would expect for the humans that fell down to survive, because they would be killed by monsters. It's merely justice. Eye for an eye.

honestly, props to dalv for actually putting up a good fight against integrity. he DEFINITELY caused her death, yeah, but it takes some amount of bravery to stand up against a "foe" you know you likely have no chance of winning against in order to protect someone more vulnerable i also like how he's more aggressive and forceful in this fight than his canon encounter, really gives credence to the idea that he's meek, timid, and probably holding back now because of what happened in snowdin, which led to a human CHILD'S death also dear god, this animation is horrifying. you did NOT hold back on the details, and i love that no wonder axis was traumatized over it (and no wonder chujin wiped his memory), having literal years to gain enough sentience to process such a gruesome scene and knowing you had a direct part in it would probably break him

You know what I love about this animation (and in the actual undertale yellow) is that while it seems like Dalv was just defending himself, it was always implied that the only reason he fought back like he did was because he was defending Kanako also. After all, in the actual UTY, despite the fact that Dalv thinks your the same human who attacked him the first time around he barely tries and just kinda wants you to go away. Again, he thinks your the same human who literally attacked him and he just wants you to leave, no anger, hatred, or even justified immediate self defense attack. It's a very cool detail.

Based on this animation it looks like Integrity struck first, and dialogue from the game suggests Integrity had killed monsters and their soul wasn't pure, so that's what I'm going off of 🤷 my headcanon is that maybe Dalv saw Integrity approaching, and seeing a human in the Underground is equivalent to seeing a bear in the woods. He was prolly like "OH SHIT" and moved to protect Kanako, and Integrity interpreted that as hostility and went on the offensive. Fun lil thing to think about! 👀

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but the muffled voices sound like her moral and logical sides are having a heated argument: one is sternly telling her to finish the job, and the other is desperately crying out for mercy. A concern I had with Undertale yellow was how they kind of limited blue's interpretation by making them die from AXIS and interpreting them as a (presumably) genocidal soul, my concern was not axis but rather the genocidal bit, which doesnt seem to align much with how they, as far as I could tell and based on game dialogue, would be as an individual? this is highly speculative considering that yes we don't know the souls much to really tell, and the tutu *is* dusty, but in a now scrapped dialogue from an echo flower interaction, the blue soul can be heard pleading for help as they die presumably in the room where they lost their ballet shoes. This leads me to believe they weren't a genocidal maniac but rather a, at the very least, flawed individual that might've killed in self defence due to being attacked, as opposed to how they were described as "ravaging through Snowdin", I do find it unlikely that a soul on a genocide path would feel intense fear, cry out for help and die easily to a monster, but at the end of the day these are my own thoughts and I'd love to hear your own, what are your thoughts on this?

You know, Chujin could have also just said it that way because even 1 monster kill by a human's hand would be enough to scare the monsters, maybe the royal guard attacked and integrity killed them in self defense, the death(s) or member(s) of the royal guard would be a cause of concern for the monsters and enough to say that a human was "ravaging through snowdin"

@Laurel-x2r I could see it in the way, where integrity was scared and wanted to get away from a place that is constantly threatening her safety. So, they kill anyone on the way to the surface. It doesnt necessarily have to be a geno route in order for there to be many kills, as by undertale standards, you could kill everyone except a single froggit and it would be considered a neutral route. In that way, it could explain the dialogue given in the games in which integrity "ravages" through Snowdin, where the wording even could possibly be exaggerated/propaganda by the monsters in fear of the humans. I do agree that it does somewhat limit the possibilities that a potential undertale blue game could use; it would have to reinvent the storytelling/mechanics that it was based on. In order for it to be palatable, I would imagine a plotline that the game would be a lot more choice-based, and the choices/decisions that face integrity would have to be impossible. Impossible choices that force integrity to kill or otherwise face penalties (possibly their own principles?) that act as a catalyst for the three possible routes, with neutral being the canon ending. You could simply have a story where integrity starts out as a pacifist, and as she goes through the game, is eventually forced to kill in the end. An anti-hero type mc would be my suggestion.

I like to imagine that in the Flawed Justice/Geno route, before dying/fallen down, each character got an internal glimpse of their mistakes that led to them to this point. Dalvs wishes for space left him clueless to what was happening around him. Ceroba hadn’t ensured Starlos safety causing him to attempt to take initiative leading to his death as-well as hers. Martlet wanted to believe that Clover could change, resulting in the deaths of dozens while she melts, still conscious of the pain she feels from the state she’s in, as-well as the guilt of knowing all their deaths were in vain. Flowey realizes he should’ve just stayed quiet after the fight. But I feel as if Axis would’ve been different. He himself is a bot! He can’t feel things the same way the others could because he doesn’t have a soul. But his programming messed up. He felt fear. He felt pure fear and wished to protect the others. But I feel like as he was in the fight, the moment that lid broke because of what he said, while begging for Clover to understand, he would’ve felt a semblance of guilt. Yes, his programing required him to do what he did, but the imagery of the child he had ripped apart (it seems they were torn apart due to some art in the official Flowey poster) just scrolls like a slide show, he understands the emotions they felt. Fear. He would feel the guilt of the fear he had instilled in a child that was attacking from fear and what he could only think to logically be self defense. He may not have known what had happened in Snowdin but he would know that they didn’t deserve what he had done to that degree. Before the consequences of his actions, in a bright, burning light, tear him in half. This animation is amazingly done from the fight scene, to integrities design, to the atmosphere of waterfall and the panic felt of the chase. The sound design as-well is downright marvelous. The sound of the ballet shoes hitting Dalv almost blending in with the music caught me off guard in a good way, and the scream at the end followed by the heart leaving what had happened up to interpretation is horrific. You nailed this in the best degree. Bravo.

Best frames IMO: - 0:28 / 0:29 (A lot of movement, hard to pick a specific pose that I like best) - 0:30 - 0:37 (holy _shit_ ) - 0:46 It's hard to put into words, but I LOVE how well you intergrated the themes of integrity into this animation without shoe horning it in like some other fanworks can occasionally fall into the trap doing. From the subtle context being that she believes she is defending herself, (a.k.a "doing the right thing") to the two frames of 0:30 & 0:46 being a sort of contrast to the overall theme (a statue breaking representing her strong sense of morals cracking, perhaps?). I feel like you conveyed so much significance through this animation, and I can barely put it into words 😅 Maybe it's the hyperfixation I've had on UT's blue soul for years now, but this is genuinely my favorite Undertale fanwork barring UTY. Well-fucking-done.

Something really crazy to think about is that the official undertale yellow devs said that Integrity's body was ripped in half But they were still alive and then their head proceeded to be crushed by axis. Immobilized and then slowly crushed to death such a violent scene

You can't exactly fault either side for what happened here. I mean on one side the Integrity soul is clearly acting out of self-defense, considering most monsters that they come across 9 times out of 10 would attack them first. You may say what you want, but every human reacts differently to this: Integrity had a fight response to defend themselves. Dalv on the other hand, more than likely did not initiate the fight first. However, from what has been heard around the underground already, the Integrity soul has attacked a few monsters and likely gained LV because of it (Hopefully not, pray tell they ran away when the monsters lost the will to fight), so he's doing what he can in that moment to protect Kanako. Integrity clearly can see what they did was wrong and that they made the wrong choice, because Instead of finishing the fight they proceed onward to try and get home. That's ALL they want to do, but It's too late because of goddamn Chijin and his selfish deeds.

Chujin was selfish because he killed a moving threat? Humans to monsters are like 100x the power level, Dalv standing up to a human was credible because how did he survive? Asriel with a human soul got killed by regular people, not even warriors, when compared to a god in the monster world

No wonder these guys need to kill). Plus, just because their ancestors (both humans and monsters) did wrong, doesn’t mean their descendants should suffer the consequences (monsters trapped underground, humans dying underground to get their souls taken). So I guess UTY’s pacifist ending is the most “justice” Clover can do (sacrifice themself = 1 less human to die = 1 more soul to break the barrier = monster go free = no more depression and despair + no more dead people)

@@StarMisura The king wanted all seven human souls not to just free the Monsterkind, but also to genocide the Human race. It was Frisk that convinced him to do otherwise through nearly killing him. So yeah, if Asgore did get all human souls, he would lead his already scarce population to yet another war, to kill, as you say, innocent descendants of humans that will get killed by Monsters for their ancestors actions.

There was an old Undertale animation I watched years ago. It was way before Undertale yellow was even released as a demo with only the ruins. But the premise is that the justice soul (not clover since clover wasn't the name given) was in a bind. He barely escaped undyne at waterfall and laments the lost of his sister who was actually the kindness soul. It turns out that their father was abusive so she ran away and made her way to the underground by mistake. He eventually finds out that's where she went and tries to find her only to be trapped underground knowing she died (likely because of a similar speech undyne gave frisk) he hears undyne approaching and uses his last bit of ammo to shoot her in the eye only for it to be implied he died shortly afterwards. This animation reminds me of that. It would kind of explain a lot if clover knew the kindness soul and that was what ultimately made them want to go searching for the rest.

Amazing animation, gets all the details right. There seem to be a lot of fan games in development for the blue soul so I'm excited to see the various interpretations of them in the future. Personally I find them the most interesting because they seemed to have a shorter more violent journey in the underground.

It's a mod for og (if I'm not mistaken) undertale but the diffirence chara (red) and clover( yellow) follows you around you can interract with them (the path you play will cause differrent consucuenses) and it has undertale yellow refferances (bosses places clovers dialoges etc)
