Exactly this. Istg I had a literal reaction with exact same inflections after my RP partner decided to something particularly stupid in the last week. He keeps setting my characters on fire. He's done it in Divinity (both Divinities, actually), Neverwinter Nights and now BG3. Definitely a worthy investment imo! Word of advise though, make sure you’ve got a strong system. I’ve been running on the minimum system requirements (PC) for a while; things take a good couple minutes to load in, and I have to shut the game off every hour or so or it crashes due to overheating. Just ordered some better parts today though, so problem should be fixed soon

There was a thread on Twitter recently from the performance director for the game. From it, I found out that all 248 voice actors in the game were also motion-captured. I am a little surprised that this is a scenario Larian had dialogue ready for. The probability of getting this without metagaming is low given the ease of the monastery puzzle vs the probability of happening to have someone far enough away for stealing the blood to not be a game over. You have to fail a very easy check and pass a quite hard check for this to happen, so to speak.
