I'm not sure how it was possible, but after watching nearly 100 videos, I'm finally subscribed! My only experience with Risk before finding you was in college. All we did was stab each other in the back. After four rounds we were all so pissed at each other that the game went away... forever. It's been great seeing your strategy and approach to the game. yellow didnt do the math on that betrayal... they had a guaranteed 3rd plus position but they gave themselves 4th with that backhand to your position.

What I think I love most about your channel, and yourself as a CC, is the amalgamation of a genuinely decent human being, your altruistic trusting playstyle and tutelage, and the deep philosophical moments. Then another player does stupid things and you lose it and tactically tear them a new one. All things in balance leads to a rich experience afterall. ❤

Fair enough, altruistic would be self defeating in this context. I was meaning your willingness to give others the benefit of the doubt, trust until proven otherwise. This playstyle seems to cost your game at times in ways I struggle to recover from. Your ability to read players, and experience in recovering from these positions lends exceptionally well to the educational aspect of your channel. @@janezkarlin9874 I believe Pete, in the first position, should recognize that Yellow couldn't do anything against Purple, which would lead him to decide not to attack Purple or to launch a less extensive attack. On the other hand yes i agree, yellow shouldn't "stab his back", considering Pete was being very diplomatic by doing a favor to him.

He did. I did what he asked and fed him the kill. I actually took out more than half of purple troops and didn't stand to recoup any from the cards.

The way risk dice work you always have to keep 1 behind so you're not actually rolling 3v6 it's only 2v6. Odds are very low!

Lasted for two nights. I was *Green* as well. 😉💚Funnily enough, I didn't have any plans to do it, but with my Ally Blue getting annihilated in Africa/Asia, and me being unable to save him, circumstances forced my hand and I had to look to my own self-preservation. Thankfully, I was ignored for the most part so I could turtle up and continuously fortify my borders. Also, can we play Risk for free so long as it's the classical version?

I'll never understand when they repeatedly ask you to do something and then they never even follow it up in any meaningfull way? They never capitilize of it. They just bother you with asking, Break the alliance, "Punnish" you for doing their bidding but actually failing to do so properly.. or they just throw their win or bargaining rights xD Funny to see 2 player examples of poor diplomacy and ways to ruin your own chances at succes (numerous times). Sadly the people that need to learn this lesson never seem to watch these videos?

I try to factor in the fact that I've probably watched hundreds of hours of really good players playing Risk.... But I think even if I'd never seen the game played even once these players would have tried my patience with how bad they were. Even with you speeding up their turns it was like watching old people fuck. Or try and tie their shoes....
