FINALLY! This took me so many tries idk why it was being so DIFFICULT! This will have some weird clips here and there, but that's because ✨KZbin wanted it this way✨ Tried to still include the very most of my reaction, but the full one is still on Patreon. Thank you guys for wanting to watch my reaction anyways, I really do appreciate that 🥹🌸💓💓

I am so glad you finished the trillogy. The majority of reactors believe and do what their communties say to not finish it because the last one is terrible, instead of making their own decisions for themselves and making an actual opinion about the 3rd movie

Another vote for watching “The Animatrix” short anime film collection. The Wachowskis worked with well known Japanese anime directors to produce several amazing short films, two of which really lay out the history and are awesome. (But they’re all interesting.) Each one could be its own short upload unless you’d rather include them all in one.

You can safely ignore the fourth movie.

Centane, Gloria Foster, the original Oracle, passed away after Reloaded and so the Oracle was recast with Mary Alice in Revolutions. Glad you enjoyed the trilogy finale. Resurrections came out in 2021, 18 yrs after Revolutions and only one of the director siblings returned, Lana Wachowski.
The character of Zee was originally casted with R&B singer Aaliyah, but due to her unfortunate death the role was re-casted to Nona Gaye who's the daughter of the great Marvin Gaye.

Regarding the 4th movie: You do you but if I had known I wouldn't have tried watched the 4th one. It reads like very (very, very) bad, surreal/fourth-wall-breaking fanfiction more than anything. The fourth just being there to "milk it a little bit more" is pretty much spot on (and in passing they dumped crap all over the franchise and the fans for the sake of a cheap dump metajoke). There's almost no story to speak of, none of the epic stakes of the original trilogy. The fight scenes are skippable as well. Really there's no redeemable aspect to it IMO.

The Animatrix is by far the best sequel (and prequel)!🎖️🏆

Gloria Foster, who played the original Oracle, died before Revolutions,. She was replaced by Mary Alice. Both ladies are legendries actresses. The Matrix Resurrections is the fourth in the series but not really worth the time. The Animatrix is a collection of short animated stories which give you some history and some related perspectives. Each story has it's own animation style so definitely worth the time.

The fourth movie isn't "weaker", its pure trash which shouldn't have been made. The original trilogy are the only Matrix movies (Animatrix is also cool though) (And I'm saying that as someone who thinks more people should watch Rocky 5, Alien 3 and Terminator Salvation when their audience tells them not to).

Yay! Glad this got re-uploaded, I had watched the first two and then the third went down. Let me say you are by far my favorite reactor, you have the perfect balance of commentary and insight and I love watching you react to some of my favorite series. Since you're such a romantic, if I may be so bold to make a suggestion that I don't think anyone on youtube has ever reacted to, The Man from Snowy River and it's sequel Return to Snowy River. Think Australian westerns with a large equine theme and totally romance films. My favorite movies by far and I'm not even Australian :P Thank you for being you Kamilla!

After 20 years and having seen it a lot of times I still don't know what I think of this movie. It's actually the only Matrix movie I saw at the cinema on release. The problem with it, I think, is it is the story they wanted to tell but couldn't compress it into one movie and keep the scale but then had to add in a bunch of extra material to justify two movies. The death of Gloria Foster was a huge problem too - they might have done the best they could, but it's a bit too jarring to work and no amount of extra dialogue can fix it. Also, NGL production standards dropped in Reloaded and Revolutions - I imagine mostly under pressure from the studio - there are problems with the sfx and cgi that there's no way would have made it into the first movie and even on release they looked bad (Neo's first fight with multiple smiths in Reloaded is really jarring and absolutely full of really terrible cgi as an example). I still haven't seen the fourth, even though the original series was a pretty major part of a key part of my life, I have a suspicion I might never. If you want more a lot of people will suggest the Animatrix - you do you but I find it a bit meh EXCEPT I'd strongly recommend one bit of it: The Second Renaissance (both parts) - firstly because it's really well executed and actually really good, but also because it has a really important relationship with the trilogy and tells a part of the story (from the machine perspective) that the trilogy completely glosses over.

I feel like this movie is pretty underrated, even though, yeah, it's not as good as the first two and obviously not as inventive or original as the first one. But the fourth movie truly does suck. Only one of the Wachowski brothers was involved with it, Joel Silver wasn't involved, it came almost 20 years after the trilogy had concluded, and is just a mess...
@terrylandess60726 ай бұрын
I think when we first see Neo blinded, the demise of Smith holds our attention. It's only when Trinity sees Neo that we understand they won't be coming back - even if it doesn't immediately register.

"Oh god! (Smith will suffice)" Matrix 1 was godly. So good. The second matrix wasn't quite as good but it was also really really good the third is ok. The actress playing the oracle died before this was made which is why we got an inferior version (imo) just like dumbledore in harry potter. As for smith he was awesome! I love him. The more the merrier. 3rd one was too much action. Not much interesting philosophical concepts. The first one ballanced it really well. The second not quite as well. The third lost it completely. I don't want to see the other. 3 movies were all we needed here
@Filmbuherator4 ай бұрын
I combined the second and third parts into a single three-hour action movie, cutting out the annoying childish/poetic elements. For the conclusion of the story, I borrowed a few minutes of footage from the fourth part. According to this, 20 years gone, Neo and Trinity continue to live in the Matrix. KZbin: "matrix 2 3 ultimate version (end scene)" .. and the first comment on GDRIVE link.

In my opinion, The Matrix 2-3 have too many boring scenes. There is overacting and unnecessary philosophizing. The action scenes are also too long, and there is too much repetition in the fight choreography. That's why I created a "Matrix ULTIMATE" version, where I combined the two parts and cut out all the unnecessary scenes, resulting in a single, dynamic three-hour movie. To conclude the story, I also used a few scenes from The Matrix 4. Unfortunately, I can't share the link, but you can find the "MATRIX ULTIMATE VERSION" clip on KZbin by clicking on my name.
