When I put my videos up the captions are automatic, I've never needed to do anything special to make them. I use captions and subtitles constantly myself and haven't run into any videos that didn't have them🤔 is this the one time in my life I've been lucky 😅

Good info on The Black List. Back in the 80s, American Film published an annual list of ten best unproduced screenplays. These were at the very least really intriguing and unusual screenplays--ones too wild or challenging for Hollywood. Sad to see the idea has evolved into something about the exact opposite kind of screenplay.

On the effects: I feel part of the bonus of having a small-set film like this where it's one small room is that you have more room to make the effects and other highlights better. Because they've moved the focus from the macro by keeping us on the plane, they've got us focused on the micro

As a makeup artist in the film industry (who was trained by people with emmys and oscars and whatnot) you’re so right about the fx makeup. It seems like the producers refused to hire an fx lab and left the poor makeup artists to try to do everything out of kit. (That doesn’t explain the bald cap though, someone needs to learn how to stipple)
