Japan is a great place to visit during any of those seasons. Since there are microclimates and even deserts, someone who might not like the summer heat can visit Hokkaido. 5:52 My eyelid used to twitch during my last two years in Japan. I found out later it could be from too much caffeine, stress, lack of vitamins such as D and magnesium. 6:09 Paulo does say "Yay!!" a lot. 7:42 Godzilla

Exactly! Japan even has kinds tropical hot all year okinawa, so these very distinct seasons I'm talking about are just the basics of the "mainland". I am Norwegian and drink a huge amount of black coffee, and I work inside all day so I guess it's a d vitamin and caffeine combo! Time to cut back!

When I came to Japan during this year's cherry blossom season then it felt a big difference with the weather having warm days, while I left the cold and snowy Sweden. I also recommend being in Japan from late September to early November.

Yeah in our Scandinavian countries, Norway and Sweden, it usually doesn't get 'warm' before may lol. Late September to early November is indeed the best time in Japan in my opinion (unless you go to hokkaido and love the cold)

This channel is great. Love your videos, keep em coming. Would love to see more videos where you are out in the streets or traveling in Japan as well. Peace from your old neighbor Sweden.

Thank you for the kind comment! I've been itching to do more content traveling around Japan, but I need to sort out some audio hardware to get the audio quality I'm after for shooting outside! Got a bunch of content planned for exciting places tourists most likely don't know about!

You need to do travel spots that westerns don't go so basically everywhere that isn't Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I would also like you to teach one "special" Japanese word per episode 😉

That sounds like some good ideas! I have a few things planned for some special places I'll travel to for content in 2024!

I live in Argentina and we also have VERY distinct seasons, just like Japan. Not only that, each season is always right on time. I was shocked talking with someone from the UK that their seasons were so messed up. Here is the opposite of the top hemisphere, for example: September 21st starts the Spring, December 21st is Summer, March 21st is Autumn/Fall and June 21st is Winter. The UK guy told me "you are in Summer, right?" and I was like "No... still Spring, Summer is December 21st" and he was like "LMAO... seasons are not in time..." and I said "well ... they're, that's the WHOLE point of the Summer solstice..."

I have only visited twice, once during winter (January) and once in autumn/early winter (November/early December). I think the fall was perfect, so beautiful with the leaves changing and great weather. The winter wasn't so bad and was less busy. I'm from Wisconsin USA (north Midwest state), so cold and snow did not bother us :) maybe I'll try spring next time :D

The fall is great, and the winter is usually surprisingly mild from Tokyo and down southwest in the country! I like cheese, beer and brats, so I probably should visit Wisconsin in my lifetime! Definitely give spring a try, but summer can literally be awful here! This summer we had 100f with 90%+ humidity in Kansai which made it feel way worse!

Just found your channel, and it's fucking hilarious. I've lived in Osaka for a bit when travelling but looking to move semi-permanently at the start of fall (fuck summer). I'd love to shout you a beer and learn more about your experiences.

We went to Japan in late October into early November this year, and being from Scotland well.. the temperatures were the same as a Scottish summer and a comfortable 16C - 25C about. I wore a thin hoody once one night for about 20 minutes 😂 It was wonderful weather (and then we came back to Scotland and it was freeezzzing) 😢

It's one of the things that surprised my friends who visited me in Osaka from Norway as well! They were doubtful that the weather would be nice in the end of October but were pleasantly surprised! Best time of the year to visit Kanto and Kansai for sure!

@@JustAnotherJapanChannel We we're super doubtful that a 19C in Tokyo would be like a 19C here at home, especially with people saying to layer up as it was chilly, I'm glad I didn't take their advice. Absolutely not to us used to baltic weather 😂 Think my husband sweated half his weight by the end. It's the summer there that concerns me for when we eventually move, peely wally Scots don't mix well with the sun 😆

I’m confused. Do schools in Viking countries teach American rather than English? The season after summer is actually called ‘autumn’… Fall is the verb for what an unsupported object with mass does under the effect of gravity. Oops, too sarcastic but I’m still a fan, great info thanks.🙏🏻
