My first Tales game I ever played and beat and it was exceptional. The story, the cast, the combat system was all pretty much perfect imo. What a fantastic game. Clocked in at exactly 50 hours and enjoyed every second. I stopped multiple times to take screenshots of the most beautiful areas as well.

I wish all the post final boss content would be playable before finishing the main story. I like to play and grind 100% in every RPG, experience all side adventures and after that do an epic entrance at the final boss with full leveled, skilled and geared characters. That's much more immersive imo. I lose motivation to play further after beating the story in offline games.

if you beat lvl 98 kirito and asuna (which you can in normal playthrough), you get the BEST swords before endgame grind but the problem with that is they're lvl 98 and they're HARD AF, Asuna has a 1hit KO move, the one she used as goddess in the anime to split open the land, yeaaa, that. it's chance based i think, if you beat kirito first.

That game was EPIC ! Loved the ending, can't be bothered to keep grinding after that tho (115h to finish in Moderate/Hard). My issue : having those same special combo animations play again and again, and again until you get fcking sick of them. Sometimes, Law's overdrive finisher would trigger 3-4 times in the same fight, it's like UUUUGH wtf am I even playing !

@@Professional_garbage it’s useless in general bc it doesn’t improve enemy AI or make them use more artes or hidden abilities it just inflated their hp and even on hard if you get comboed by anything you’ll outright die most the time so it’s not really a difficulty spike rather than an extension to time spent in combat. I played through new game plus reset levels did it on chaos and I turned it off after The first zone because the random monsters just took a couple minutes longer every fight it was taking forever so I keep it on hard and just switch to chaos before bosses for more action. It literally just makes it take longer

Minor nitpick but the ability increase artes also consume CP when used and Kisara does in fact have a heal as does Law. Laws only heals himself and Kisaras is an aoe heal around her that also damages enemies in the area. Ah you can also set Rinwell as the starting battle character if you want to play as her instead of switching at the beginning of every battle. It's in the same menu where you switch out party members. menu->LB->cant remember button but it says which one on the bottom->move coursor/selector on the character you want as your main and click 1(square on ps controllers).

I enjoyed the story, however I feel near the end it kind of dragged on (or maybe I was just getting a little burnt out) haha. But I definitely wanna check out the other games!

The Gald in game was in my opinion very well handled in resguarda to the economy. I believe it shouldn’t be to easy or it lowers the challenge. Game was very challenging and I got the platinum in 78 hours. And there still things to do. Amazing game highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t played it yet

First game I’ve played, worth every dollar. The recent few games I’ve played (Ghost of Tsushima, FFVIIR, each Mass Effect) would have stopped around Water Lord Vholron fight. When part 2 (season 2 as I call it), i was impressed. They didnt leave us hanging and waitng for a sequel like most development. Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2 feels short in comparison.

i beat the game after 90 ish hours on hard, but i struggled early game especially against the light boss i get full party ko when he uses the ult.I had low items and practically no gald, i beat him by using light resist accessory with just alphen alive.After dohalim boss you get a farm spot in the castle with the soldiers and then in almerieda ship. I farmed so much soldier tags and astral ores ended up with 500k gald i could finally buy restore items and then it became significantly easier.When i played the lords bossses fight at level 95 i beat them rather easily thanks to alphen sword (i had 3.5k ish atk).On a side not , do you get new quests when playing ng+?

Re: you point on the game economy, once you unlock fishing, you can get a ton of money incredibly fast in comparison to how much time fishing takes. Fish for about half an hour and you usually walk away with around 50k. That, and it's fun, so win/win! You sell fish the same way you sell commodity items at merchants.

I have also platinumed it but I actually like the game enough to NG+ it... without carrying over Weapons and Levels of course (don't want it to be TOO easy) also, it's unlikely (nigh-impossible in fact) that you'll have maxed out your Skill Panel by the end and I'm a bit OCD so I want ALL of them filled out, I also want to get all the play records maxed out, by that I mean: -obtaining ALL items -forging all 103 weapons (the platinum requires 100) -crafting all accessories -cooking all recipes at least once -finding every piece of equipment you get the idea, I'll even buy the DLC titles at some point simply so that I can spend my excess SP on them!

I just got done with the wedge and I’m bored. I’ve got no real interest in killing stronger versions of the same monsters over and over again. Also the map is too small. They act like they been on ha huge journey between cities when it’s two small maps with enemies I’d rather avoid now than to fight. My characters are lvl 39 and I’ve already killed bosses at lvl 43. I want to kill the enemies at the temples but seems like I have to finish the game to fight enemies strong enough to give me enough xp so it’s not a lame grind fest. I’ve done every side mission I can minus the rarest book and the bosses.

What do you mean one dimensional? You don't spend a whole lot of time with any of them xcept 3rd one so their motivations and driving factors only get known to you afterwards if you actually pay attention to the skits in the later part of the game. It's a whole lot more realistic than you spending a shitton of time contemplating whether you need to kill this bastard who as far as you can see, is just batshit crazy and slaving and torturing people for the fun of it. You kill them first and ask questions later.

Whoa my brother, you're level 100 Shionne is rocking a level 3 Faire Ring? That's like being a millionaire and only giving your waifu a 3k wedding ring. You can afford better! In fact, I think getting Shionne a level 5 Faire Ring with 4x CP cost reduction should be your first accessory to start to earn gald. It often results in more than a 40% cost savings because you're not compelled to spend as much on Life Bottles and Orange Gels. Set her healing strategy to be more aggressive (< 75% with aoe specifically, don't let the AI choose; < 100% with First Aid -- and set both to no restriction because the AI seems to be slower otherwise) and you'll see it'll make the world of difference how far you're able to go through dungeons and be just fine with your CP pool (you still want 'CP When Full'). You will be able to handle hard boss fights with her resurrecting quite a bit and not running out of CP too. Ultimately this results in cost savings which keeps gald free for other stuff. I had this done before I started going to each rift/world for Devil Arms and I haven't had much of a hitch at all with any of the areas or boss fights. Some of the fights are hard and killed me a bit more than others, but Shionne just kept on healing through it no issue. At this point, the only fights I wouldn't be able to clear would have to be a boss with such high damage it just constantly one hits everyone.

Won’t lie, the Money Economy in this Game Sucks, that is…until you you Reach Dolihme’s Chapter! When the Coup de Tah happens, you can Loop/Loot the Soldiers there for Dog Tags, as well as Reach the Town Shop Sell those Dog Tags. Fighting the Soldier Enemies is the Best Way to Get a Crap-ton of Money in this game. As for Exp, that Definitely needs the EXP boost Artifact to really reap the benefits of Leveling Up in this game.

How are you broke? If you crafted all the weapons in the game and pop the trophy/achievement just sell the rest of them. I have like 400K Gald and more than enough to keep stocked on CP gels which lets me keep Shionne equipped for faster casting.

You are missing on telling us clearly the order of what dungeons / places to do first at about level 50-55 after finishing the story, I assume it must be Fogwharl Limestone Caverns. Otherwise good video indeed!

Do them in recommended level order. If you don't want to check what it is online just save before attempting them and look at the boss monsters level. That is the recommended level to attempt them. All of the end game side quest bosses are fairly hard to do under leveled.
