Once again Justin thank you for absolutely right on biblical sound teaching. As a pastor and a Bible teacher myself it amazes me how many who claim to know Christ yet do not know the truth is contained in God‘s holy Word! Countless numbers of people running after false prophets and teachers and running to churches where God‘s word has been corrupted and yet very few want to attend a church where sound doctrine is taught. If possible maybe one day you could do a teaching on why so many especially today are running after the false prophets and teachers and ignoring those men who are teaching sound doctrine. One thing I wanted to note about names. Several 'female' names I've known men to have are: Stacy, Tracy, Dana, Ashley. One female name that used to belong to a man, as late as the 1800's, was Shirley. ('Shirley' is a novel by Charlotte Brontë and is the name of the female protagonist - the matter of her name being a man's name is mentioned a few times).

Justin, I have been listening to your post on you tube for several years, and I can honestly say that this post, in my opinion, has been the most powerful and most informative one that I have ever heard from you. This message was without a doubt, Spirit lead. Without disclosing to many details, I must tell you that our church has been embattled with J.D. Greear for several months now concerning his desire to forcefully take over our small, financially troubled, church. Our church is not a member of the SBC and we have absolutely no desire to become a member for obvious reasons. His WOKE theology is totally contrary to what our church believes. There will not be eternal torment, that is not biblical.. the Bible clearly states that to be in hell is to be in the grave. And to be under God's judgment is to be out of the presence of God. So with these two understandings it can be said that the understanding is that once people die who are NOT God's people, will die and never get to be in God's presence ever again! That is to be in hell..

Recently i saw in the news that a pastor came out as a transgender and got fired from his position so he decided to take them to court. This happened in missisaga ontario at a Baptist church. It was so ironic, and gives more evidence to the egalitarianism error, that both presidents of the SBC quoted that "whisper/shout" thing with such confidence, and it was a quote from a woman preacher. a woman preacher that gives approval to sexual sin in the church (Romans 1:32). Yep, I'd imagine so. The moment I stopped viewing my sins as an affliction or a sickness (and don't get me wrong, certain sins - including mine, like drugs - can *lead to* affliction/sickness, but out of one's one willful choices, just like lung cancer from smoking) - and starting viewing them as choices I was making, was when I was able to really see that I was at fault, I was guilty, and I needed Jesus. The "wah, wah it's not my fault" attitude will lead to nothing but more and more sin, and death apart from God, death in our sins. Taking ownership of one's own behavior is the only way to see it for what it is, and consequently, get out of it. I mean, think about it, if someone is a VICTIM of their sins rather than a guilty person willfully committing those sins - they don't need salvation because they're the victim rather than a perpetrator/criminal/sinner. They don't need saving then, they don't need Christ at all. The pro-life groups do this with abortion too. They make the woman into a victim just like their baby (the real victim.) By doing this, they're robbing those women (the ones they convince anyway, which is a lot) of godly sorrow over their sin, robbing them of the realization of their guilt, and therefore robs them of salvation. They have no need for the gospel if they've done nothing wrong. This whole social justice thing does that too. It's intentional, I think.

Romans 1:28 does say God gave them up to a debased mind. So it's both a choice and an affliction really. But the key is that God does this because the don't 'acknowledge' him. Romans 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. 28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Thank you so much for putting these critical points across so lucidly and accurately. You are a great blessing. Truth is so badly needly in some churches, including mine. My church in London is, I believe, theologically liberal although they don't make a big show of it and they do read from scripture in a fairly balanced way - weighted in favour of God's love but also mentioning sin as well. They aren't like prosperity teachers although there are a lot of 'Santa Claus-like God' prayers there. Too many really. The place has easily recognisable narcissists too (noting the the part in this video about entitlement). My church has women preachers and the church overall is led by a male and female (although I am unsure if the female is regarded as co-leader - but she does preach). My congregation sent out a leaflet to everyone a week or so ago with Church Values on it. To add to the part about gentiles and jews being equal in the sight of God for purposes of salvation, they used that text to justify putting an equalities and inclusivity statement about race equality and gender equality anti discrimination on it, which was completely unnecessary. That additional statement told me immediately that, if push came to shove, they would put first Woke progressiveness over God's word, which they dont seem to think sufficient enough by itself to convince congregants that God is not discriminatory against women - no matter what their role - or about non-whites either. So I assume, therefore, that egalitarianism is the key bolt on to the church's ethos and that God's word has to fit around that. Before, I wasn't bothered about women preachers, which is why I stayed where I was. The church did come up with an explanation on that: they said that women were silent in the Church during biblical times because women were ill educated and it fitted the cultural norms at the time, so they would not have been listened to anyway. But it's different now, so it's fine and we have to move with the times. Feminism changed everything. Now I don't agree with them at all, despite some of these women preachers being pretty good at getting across their point. That's obviously not the issue, though. Since I have listened to Justin Peters and other great preachers who teach the real word of God, not some theologically liberal watered down version of it, I can fully see the point of sticking to God's word, however old fashioned it might seem in post modern society, simply because God's word needs to be consistent and is above nation, culture, history, time - otherwise it will always be compromised, changed, abused and distorted to suit the whims of mankind, which is not only sinful but seems to be more so than ever. Once that happens God is not being worshipped, a man made version of him is - a false God, a Golden Calf, an idol. So I really do get it and why this rule has to stand. I am now looking for another Church, but won't be leaving it until I find a good one (I doubt that will be easy when so many are compromising the Truth) and I've said my two penneth about some of points Justin raises in this video and sermons on Women leaders from MacArthur. I expect it will go down like a lead balloon.
