1:31:36 This is where private servers are nice like Ascension, that gives you PvE challenges that limit you on things you can do, like items, Only quest items, no duns, hardcore, nightmare, kill bosses before lvls etc.. and those you earn rewards, T-mod, Mounts and other items making it worth doing or hell the new endless dun mode that gives more rewards the higher floors you reach. If Blizzard would add those things to SoD (or just wow over all) it could add so MUCH for like the PvE players

Therefore bots are able to sell truckloads more gold, and they run more bots, inject way more gold into the economy, make it impossible for people to farm gold at a rate that keeps up with inflation, unless they run gdkps themselves, so yeah, it's terrible for everyone apart from the selfish players that run gdkps themselves. Seems pretty obvious tbh.

EVEN if classic was more popular retial is more profitable and that beats classic for the company's priorities by a mile On the multiboxing comment the reason multibox got nerfed is because people were multiboxing to tap minerals/herbs and getting 10x the minerals/herbs in retail On the GDKP side of things my guild runs as a gdkp guild with 4-5 raid teams and I would bet at least 95% of us(or any) arent buying gold but just running alts like crazy to get gold from the quests Kinda confrontational episode here. Josh Corbett was here amped up and ready to fight the host and other guest what was that. Made it a bit hard to slug through the first bit of the episode at least(2 hours in currently)

Hey Bob, Mel and co. Question for your next Episode: We heared that there could be differenz ways to Level in the future Phases. In my Opionen there are enough ways: Questing, Grinding, Dugeons. The Players that already made the Quests are pretty much only the sweaty Players. And I am sure they will build a Group of Premades and grind Dugeons all day long. Do u guys think there ist a need for more Quests, or other Leveling options?

That’s such a retail solution.

3:29:19 just a heads up, this isn't how warcrsft logs works. It's not just get a new parse next week. If the previous weeks 100 parse isn't beaten by anyone it could be the 100 parse for X boss for weeks. Until you surpass that person's dps you won't be able to 100 parse. It's not compartmentalized in the way you're making it out to be. If someone does 300 dps on a boss week 1 and you don't do more than 300 any week thereafter, you will not get the 100. That person who got the 100 simply stays rank 1 on X boss until its surpassed.

According to the warcraft logs site they state that generally parses are based in a 2 week timeline. But you can look up historical parses as well. It kinda sounds like both things are true. Regarding dual spec, Bob's idea doesn't work at all for hybrid classes. Most of the time I'm healing a raid or dungeon, but every once in awhile I need to DPS. I wouldn't change my spec much at all for open world or PVP.

Strong disagree with the separation of pve and pvp, it's one of the best advantages vanilla has over any of the later expansions. PVE gear should come from pvp, and good PVP gear should come from pve. I hate the tbc/wotlk and later expansions where you were required to carry completely separate sets of gear just to be competitive.

Totally agree. The whole point of my statement was to point out the affects bots have. I did say that cheap consumes are beneficial for me, but the only reason for that is I've passed the stage where farming is necessary. Then I tried to point out why it's not beneficial for others. Bottom line is its a huge and complex problem that does not have a black and white answer. Yet so many people think it is black and white. In the future I might just ban the bot discussion permenantly from the show. It's a lame topic to talk about being that every single mmo has a bot problem and I just don't care at this point. Well the point you made about bots driving down costs being a benefit was true but frustrating. The costs being driven into the ground also removes any meaningful profit for non bot players that would normally use their professions to make a decent income. Sure you can still make some gold, but it's nothing compared to what you can earn in even a 45min BFD GDKP. It's hard to not feel like you are wasting your time trying to make money the old fashioned way.

​@@BlazzinBobby the problem is you were defending bots by attributing positive aspects to them when none exist. Bots driving down the price of gatherable is not a benefit at all. It removes an aspect of the market from play and has a terrible effect on the in-game economy with a vicious cycle of reinforcement that just leads back to making buying gold more appealing. Via reducing the gold consistently gatherable materials go for, and increasing the price of non-consistently farmable items. (price of herbs goes down, price of rare drops goes up), and overall causing massive inflation and deflation of differing trade goods. If you played back in vanilla/TBC you could legitimately Herb/Mine/Skin for your mounts, gold for raid consumables, and make a decent amount of gold without making it a part time job. That becomes impossible as bots move into those sectors devaluing those items.

You can hate me all you want, that's totally fine, but I need to repectfully ask for clarification in this comment. Bob was not 'playing devil's advocate', he firmly believes in the points he raised and I firmly disagree with them, hence the clash. @@countdowntoclassic you said that retail had more people and shot it down and got cocky about classic and 46% was retail the rest was classic and wrath, you were just so sure of yourself and I just dislike that way of thinking. they have not did anything except nerf hunters and nothing is different than classic... they abandoned us... now making us sit around at 25 a month longer than most of us wanted. They do not stop premades, they do not do anything to prevent class stacking, so people are being left behind and disreguarded. its why I am doing a charge back for my sub and quitting forever
