I just tried this recipe few hours ago to sell and they're amazing. I got 12 donuts. My dough was a little sticky so I added a bit more flour. I used glaze icing, sugar and frosting with sprinkles to decorate them...Thank you!!❤🍩

Omg these are the softest donuts ever. They didn’t last long in my house. I had to make another batch. My son and husband ate them up and asked for more. Nothing compares to homemade donuts. hi, you can simply replace fresh milk with water. you can use condensed milk but u may need to add up a bit water if dough mixture becomes dense. another option is milk powder dissolve in water if you still want milk in it.😊

hi, my work surface is just smooth & non stick so it is very rarely that i dust it with flour or grease my hands . one factor is the dough contains butter already which acts as a grease to the surface once kneaded🙂

I notice the you don’t fully incorporate the butter but kind of loosely mix it in, then knead it. This looks so good but is there a way to tell if the donuts are fully cooked when they are golden brown?

I, personally, didn’t think it was enough sugar for the donut without the glaze. Texture was amazing. Just didn’t taste like a sweet plain donut. Tasted like I could add some butter and garlic and get a scrumptious garlic knot.

I'm making this rn and I followed the ingredients to the t, however, after adding in my flour the mixture was still very much runny and sticking to my hands to the point where I couldn't even knead it or anything, looked nothing like the video so I kept adding in flour till I got a dough I must've added in around 100g more flour, I've been kneading for 10 minutes and although the dough is smooth I cant do the window test, the dough isn't elastic, can anyone let me know what I've done wrong

My dough was so difficult to manage.i don’t know what went wrong.added everything as per your instructions but it was so runny and could barely knead it.it was such a mess. They turned out nice after that 😀 but I guess the sugar was but less.any idea how I can fix this? It’s not sweet at all.pls help

dough is normally wet & sticky at first, the more you knead it should be less sticky & sometimes you just need patience😁to knead it coz it is really sticky but still becomes elastic. if it’s runny & not kneadable it do happens sometimes coz not all flours are created equal in protein content that’s why every flour absorbs liquid differently, you may add up flour for that. sweetness of donuts usually comes from its sugar coat or glaze , that’s why sugar is less on the dough itself. but if you want it more sugar, feel free to add😊

hi dear, ratio of yeast does not depend much if egg added, it mainly depends on the flour. a 2 tsp yeast can raise 2-4 cups of flour. 1 & 1/2 tsp would be ok too if only 2 cups of maida🙂👍
