Super Soft and Non Chewy Homemade Veg Momos. This Street Style Recipe is perfect & the Chutney is definitely the Best So far. It is not at all chewy and melt in mouth. You’re going to love this one if you are a momo lover.
Ingredient List -
Momo Wrapper -
1 cup / 125 g All Purpose Flour
¼ cup + 2 tbsp Hot Water (Around 90 g) This Quantity can vary a little depending on flour type
A Little Salt
Filling -
1 cup Cabbage
¼ cup Carrots
2 Garlic
1 Green Chilli
A Small Piece of Ginger
Salt & Pepper
1 tsp Butter
2 cubes of Cheese
Chopped Coriander
Chutney
1 Tomato
2 to 3 Kashmiri Red Chillies
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Small piece of ginger
1 Chilli
1 tsp Corn Flour + ¼ cup water
1 tsp oil
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Vinegar
½ Maggi Magic Cube
1 tbsp Coriander

Hello ! Yes you can.. Just make sure you use hot water to knead a dough. Rest all the same.

Very detailed recipe indeed.Neha can we fill the momos n freeze them in case for a party so that they be steamed then n serve..also can we make them in a idly maker

Hey ! You can steam these in an idli steamer. And you can freeze these too. Though I highly recommend using same day..

Didi agar steam nahi karna hotoh banaker kitne dino tak dibbe me rakh ker aur freeze mee rakh sakte hai aur filling bhar kar he rakhna he naa plz reply mee

In my area we dont get that maggi cube. Can we skip it? Or any other alternative for this.

You can skip it all together. Not a compulsion. Basically it is a replacement for MSG . You can use veg stock cube or even Aromat powder (Optional) A little additional Soy sauce also helps to get a boost in Umami flavour. Where are you based ?

If you over steam it , it can be hard. Also dough making method make a difference
