BarnYard - This is very tempting. Especially for winter camping when batteries just don't last. Great idea!

Planning to camp at Walt Disney World at Fort Wilderness and need a charge the cell phone just in case ...some time it rains for 10 mins or so ..

My solar panels can handle the rain on the panel, it is the plug connections you need to keep and eye on since they are not waterproof.

Those Goal Zero lights look great. I wish you would have shown them at night. Can you read by them? This video is a year old. Do you still use them? How did they last? Thank you in advance.

I still use the Goal Zero lights. I have three models I take with me. The Light-A-Life Mini is perfect for in the tent (as shown in the video) and they are bright enough to read by. They make a perfect tent light and I always have a USB battery pack to plug it into or plug into the Lighthouse Mini Lantern. I also use the Goal Zero Chroma lantern to mark my tent location since I can change the color. They also solar recharge easily and are very portable. The last one is the Goal Zero Lighthouse Mini and I use it for a lantern while sitting around the campfire. All are great products and they have become standard items in my camping setup.

What models solar panels do you have for the tent. I'd like to find something simple that actually works.

I have been using the BigBlue 28 watt panel for a couple years and it has worked well.
