Nice tractor. Great video. Got my CK2610 back in 2019 like your 35. Been an outstanding tractor on my small 5 acres . After accumulating various implements it has proven its worth over and over. Great over all and yes the smell of diesel is the smell of freedom to me too🚜

Thanks for the great video. I've had cab and open station tractors and it's one of the toughest decisions. Ultimately, for myself, I prefer the open station tractors for the smaller 25HP style tractors as I find that I am getting on and off of them frequently. For anything larger, I tend to spend more time in them (eg. haying etc.) and prefer the cab.

I have a Deere 3032E open station. Not planning on selling it, but am in the market for a mini-excavator. The mini's DEFINITELY gonna have a cab! I'll be using it in the woods a lot, making trails, clearings, food plots, etc. and I keep thinking about running across a yellow jacket hive. Not a nice experience when you're exposed. It'll be nice to be cool in summer, warm in winter, and out of the dust too.

Hey Mike, the cab definitely has it's benefits. As with most things there are always the positives and negatives. I drove a lot of cab tractors over the years and the climate control and staying out of the dust and rain are a big deal. One of the main things for me was the reduced visibility, but I know you adapt and get used to it. Either way, I think you made a good choice, especially with all the rain you guys get. Enjoyed the video and stay safe out there.

I just got the same tractor month or so ago. I think you're on point with a lot of what you bring up. The dealer tuned mine before delivery so it's essentially giving me close to 35 hp. I have two main complaints about the tractor which are the hydraulics which are absolutely horrible when you compare those to my Kubota. I wish Kioti wouldn't have cut Corners with the hydraulics. The other is fuel consumption this thing drinks diesel like crazy, when compared to my Kubtoa and my other 42hp Case I used to have. I'm not sure if you have the same experience. I will tell you having the AC and stereo is absolutely amazing.

Hi there! Oh nice. Dealer tune up! Sweet! I think it is a lot of tractor for the money. I agree the hydraulics could be better. I already installed a stereo after saying I probably wouldn’t. Great video. Good information. I have a CK2610 open station. I’ve had it three years and have 400 hrs on it. I’m thinking about going to a cab also but was told by the dealer that I wouldn’t want the 2620 cab version because it doesn’t have enough power. I think after watching this that the dealer is just trying to sell me the more expensive unit. Also, i did turn up the fuel screw on mine about a year ago. It doesn’t give you a little more power but I wouldn’t say it’s like a completely different machine. Do you have your tires filled?
@tractorrookie23 сағат бұрын
Hi, Thanks for checking out the video. Yes! My tires are filled. I imagine the cab adds some weight to the standard 2620, but I have been happy with it. It definitely has less power than my 3520, but the cab is pretty awesome. I love having the shelter, the heat and air. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Cheers!🚜🇺🇸

It seems to me that the positive attributes outweigh the negative. I’m still vacillating about the cab versus an open station tractor. We both live in the Pacific Northwest and we definitely can experience a wide variety of weather conditions. That is why I was extremely interested in your opinion and review of this particular tractor. Hopefully you’ll have time to film the fifty hour service and the necessary information about the process. Thanks for the video and keep us updated on future developments.

I can stir up hornets & wasps galore and they can't get me. I don't get covered in dust and dirt when doing loader work. When it's freezing I can work in a comfortably heated cabin. @tractorrookie5 ай бұрын
Hi Jack! I used the backhoe to put in several utilities and for a few other projects. It was handy, especially given I did not have to go rent something. After all the utilities were in, it mostly sat in the shop and they take up a lot of floor space. I sell used stuff all the time and I had a hard time selling it. They are also very expensive. I think renting an excavator when needed would be a better option. If you don’t want to rent, buy one of the Chinese mini excavators. Hope that helps! Good luck with your purchase! Cheers🇺🇸🚜

As I get older, the idea of a tractor with a climate controlled can becomes much more appealing. The problem I have, is that I bought my little Kubota tractor specifically to get into some really tight quarters in my woods. Between trees, under low hanging limbs, etc. A cab simply will not do. It would have dents, broken windows and so forth. For now, I guess I will just watch your videos with a slight bit of jealousy!
@tractorrookie5 ай бұрын
Hi Gary Very true! The comfort of climate control is more appealing with age. I also like the clean space, a cab not covered in dust etc. I know that sounds silly. I also agree there are places I can no longer go unless I cut a path and make it limb free. Everything is a trade off. I was moving some bigger open station tractors yesterday at the dealership and thinking- these are nice! 🤣😅 Thanks for stopping by! Cheers!🚜🇺🇸

I'm wondering how loud it is in the cab when you're working the tractor? Can you actually hear the speakers or is it too loud to listen? I seen a video on someone on a tym tractor and he said it was loud inside the cab. Any info would be appreciated. Love your videos!
@tractorrookie5 ай бұрын
Hi Leroy! Good question. I might try and do a demo on that at some point. I would say they are okay. On a scale of 1-10, I’d give them a 6. It depends on what you are doing and the level of sound quality you want. I use the speakers when I am getting in and out of the cab. Like when I am moving pallets or totes, stuff like that. When I am mowing, I prefer to use AirPods. The cab is fairly loud at the high rpms. I have taken a couple of our larger tractors to the stereo shop to have radios installed for customers. Some people use them all the time, but I also think the larger tractors have better quality speakers. Hope that helps! Cheers🚜🇺🇸
