What a great outing my friend it looks like you had a great time I liked the ending food right on the burning embers I do it alot .besides the charcoal is good for the system once in a while. I've binged watch all your videos this weekend and it was a joy because the weather here was windy and wet a good weekend to set by the fire and enjoy watching your outings THANK YOU MY FRIEND 🌲🏕🔥

Wow, I’m completely honoured! So happy to have you along for the weekend. It's great that I can share my experiences with others from the comfort of their home. Authentic barbecue cooking on cooking on coals is. And yes, it’s a great purifier for water, illness, and they even give it to persons that have been poisoned in the emergency room. I use it to brush my teeth in the woods, filter water, use as ember, and mark surfaces when I’m carving something from wood. I really appreciate your kind words and support. Now that you had a nice weekend, enjoy your week mate. Cheers

Another excellent video. I really like that cup you use, wooden, right, and how you grind your coffee. I saw your wool blankets and the fur pelt you use. I watch a guy in northern Denmark who uses a sheep skin to sleep on and has a nice hooded wool cape he made from a blanket. What are those bread like things you lay on a hot log? You do a good job and are a pleasure to watch. Thank you so much. Take care, My Friend.

Another enjoyable tranquil vid . Looked a lovely time away from it all 👌 . Got to do me a raised bed like that sometime. Problem is I have to be a bit stealthy and not draw to much attention to my doings 😂. Take care and must say I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of your vids that I've seen so far . Excellent 👌🏕

Right, when I lived in the UK Bushcraft was quite restricted. In the states there is more public land that is big so that one could get lost in Bushcraft and no one will bother you or know you are there. Thank you so much for being a part of my journey. Cheers mate!

Hey there, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I suppose it speaks for itself. My kit weighs 30 to 45 lbs in the winter, an average 30 in the summer. Bear in mind that I also have camera equipment and battery packs

Thanks for sharing, love your videos. There is so much to learn in your videos. It is always interesting to see what equipment people use for camping, bush craft, etc. Can you share what you used in this video? Thanks and keep the videos coming!

Hello Panthros, I'm glad to share. It's nice that these skills and ways of doing things are being shared so they don't pass away. I would love to share my equipment with you, however, it is quite a long list, can you name a few things (5-10 items) specifically?
@panthros73952 жыл бұрын
@@TheLoreofBushcraft Thank you for offering to take the time. Perhaps the more big ticket items in cost or perhaps the items that are the most special to you. Just as you talk about the bushcrafters who inspired you, you have inspired us.

Okay, the pack is the Frost River Isle Jr with the additional waist belt and blanket straps (which I recently replaced because it carries like a 12-year-old kid on your back), the boots are Lowa Hunter Evo Extreme, the trousers are Fjallraven Varmland, the jacket is Barbour Bedale, my axes are Gransfors Bruk, my knife is made by Ray Mears and Emberleaf workshops, my blanket is Hudson's Bay 6 point wool blanket, and my saws are made by Silky, at least in this last outting that's where everything comes from.

Glad to see you're back up and running! How's the new knee treating you? BTW, welcome to the US!
@TheLoreofBushcraft2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rich, thank you. Yeah, I'm always in the woods, I just don't film everytime. The knee healed great, and I was doing swats a week after surgery, it was just a torn meniscus that needed cleaning out because I had a spur. One month after surgery I was completely back to normal it seems. I also have Osteoarthritis and a lot of wear on the knee due to extreme running exercises I do. If you notice, I usually add the knee pads to my trousers as a protective measure,, even though I feel no pain. Well, thanks for looking in on me, I'm doing well mate, and I will be releasing some more trips and the days to come. Cheers mate! 💪
