I love that you brought the kitchen sink lol I find that gritty slogs always make for the best trips because when you get to where you are going it was well worth the effort! That is a beautiful spot and I love finding old flagging tape in the middle of nowhere on a trip, it definitely makes the imagination wander! Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Rob

We are very like-minded! Some people think bringing the kitchen sink is soft but you have to earn it so I think it evens itself out! That cooler is not an easy carry lol. Thanks for commenting, Rob!

Oh no! You fell victim to the old packing up to move closer for an easier exit bamboozle. It's got me too! Other parts of our body had already decided that we were going home. We were just fighting the inevitable. I believe we have less control over these types of decisions than we might like to think... Another great video!!

@@wildernesscanuck I'm loving the channel bud! Lots of great content as of late. Best of luck growing the channel. I'll be here for the ride. I tend to be a heavy commenter as you can see.

Nice job! The campsite was obviously an established one. Did you know it existed before you came there? Didn't really look like you found a beaten down path into the lake?

Hi! No I didn't know what to expect on that lake so it was a pleasant surprise! Thanks for watching!

Fantastic setup man! Great video. This lake looks amazing. What is the brand of that tent?

Thank you! This is a SeekOutside 8 person tipi tent. It's very lightweight and easy to set up and it's a palace for 1 or 2 people! It's also a hot tent.

A lot of those teepee hot tents have a bug net option for the inside.
@wildernesscanuck
@wildernesscanuck Жыл бұрын
Yes you are right, however I don't think they include a screen over the stove jack hole but I could have added that option. I was hoping the bugs wouldn't have been as bad as they were and I paid the price!
@GrittingEagle
@GrittingEagle Жыл бұрын
@@wildernesscanuck the bug net is a standalone that hooks to the top so the stove jack doesn’t matter. The bug net option that fits on one side is another option if you are using the stove jack.

What tent is that and where can I get one? I feel if I added additional waterproof membrane the seams wouldn't leak. I'm looking for a tipi tent for all season camping with room for two cots and 2 dogs

This is a SeekOutside Tipi, 8 person, I am sure I just have to add some sealant to the leaky spot. Would be good for your needs!
