Hey i just discovered your channel! It is so fun to discover other KZbinrs. You ssem real fun, i will watch more! 37$ and you got a massage chair, WOW what a treat!! I'm from Canada and Japan is on the bucket list for me & my bestie to go. I have a rudimentary base of nihongo from watching anime and past Japanese boyfriends but she actually studied it in university (not even for work, just to speak it). We met at a Harajuku night when they used to have them in Quebec City, so Japanese culture is what reunited us (none of us are Japanese LOL). We'll go together when her kids are older and we both have the time and $$. She might not stay as long as me but i think i would need at least 2 months alone to explore Tokyo and then another 2 months to go to other cities, and that's still very short. I am definitely taking note of that rooftop to shoot video!!! I don't know if you've heard of the Belgian author, Amélie Nothomb, She was born in Shukugawa and had to leave at 5 years of age because her parents were diplomats and globe-hopped a lot, but she always considered herself Japanese (she is not Asian, she's white) and when she was 21 she came back to Japan and tried to work in a company. She wrote a hilarious novel about it, the English title is "Fear and Trembling". I definitely recommend you read it !! ❤️

Love seeing places I've been to before in your videos and this one makes you feel like you are right there with you , love it ! And my son who lives in Osaka has sent me pics from Eggs n Things there ! He totally does there whenever he's craving /missing American breakfast!

OMG I loved seeing people enjoy places I’ve been before too!!! It’s so nostalgic isn’t it?!!!! What does your son usually get there?? I ALMOST got their seasonal pancakes but it was too much sugar 🤣🤣 I really could’ve used a friend to share with!!
@kriggyboon3 жыл бұрын
@@heratlas I'll ask him what his go - tos have been , but I definitely remember pancakes have been involved lol. When he's come home to visit , one of the first places he always wants to go to is this breakfast place we have in Chicago area because he's craving American breakfast! He says pancakes in Japan are amazing but so different than America! And yes ...I'm such a nostalgic person to begin with so I literally squeal with excitement when you are at places I've been to lol . I think My favorite one of those happening so far was when you posted about the soy sauce shop on Miyajima lol

Love Ginza! Its where I stayed when I went in 2019! There's an amazing little corner cafe there that I can't remember the name of, but my husband and I had tea and cake there which was amazing and the place had such a vibe. Will look it up to see if I can find the name of it! Ginza has this amazing street full of restaurants nearby which is also incredible.

I lived in Odaiba nearby Ginza and I would go on Sundays, when the main road is closed, just for a cup of coffee or sightseeing. Its extravagant. Odaiba is a cool place to visit too. Another great thing to do in Ginza is go to the very old coffee shop there. I cant remember the name. Also, I went to that Tokyu Plaza and now only I knew what the place was famous for. I just went to the top to see the roof top garden.

Thank you for very nice and fashionable movie! As a Japanese, it is delightful that you enjoy this country. Regarding the hotel in Ginza, the room is too small, maybe Shinagawa or Shibuya area will have even better room.

In your experience how does Japan view/handle the people without housing? Are there people without a housing population? Being in California there is a crisis of people without housing due to the high cost of living and our housing issues. When you are walking around I noticed how clean the streets are which I remember you talking about how it is a cultural norm there to throw away your trash at home but also couldn't help but notice no one was on the streets. I know other countries view people without housing differently, sometimes for the better and some worse.
