Welcome To Survival-Russia. One of the very best Outdoors and Survival related communities on KZbin, and yes, It's a pretty good Channel too :)
My name is Lars. I'm From Denmark but I live in Rural Russia now. I live at a Homestead in wild nature surrounded by a huge forest.
On The Survival-Russia channel we do all things related to the Outdoors Lifestyle. I share my thoughts and experiences on Survival Techniques for the woodlands of the Northern Hemisphere. the Reality of Survival. I share Techniques and ways of the Siberian Tribesmen and the Russian Longhunters of the older days. Things not shown outside of Russia very much.
On this Channel we also do Off-Road driving, Vehicle builds, Metal Detecting, all things Outdoors basically. Enjoy!

LOVE Your channel & how wise and practical the advice & tips are! We have a cottage in North Western Ontario, near Sioux Narrows, Ontario. Regularly gets to below minus 30 + wind chill there for a month or so. Lots of wildlife - bears, wolves, deer, moose, lynx, bobcats, mink, and fish and eagles, hawks, ravens, crows, Blue Jays, so never very lonely even when out there alone. Your terrain and weather is VERY similar, tho we have a lot of bare rock outcroppings / cliffs mixed in. Anyhow, have spent parts of my whole 59 years in The Bush without the comforts of home and find your approach and methods super effective and relatively easy. Well Done, Brother. 👍 Keep Looking UP! 👍🎯😁🙏🏻😎

Another great video Lars, enjoy your meal selections though simple, easy n tasty. Pork fat, my parents growing up on the farm used to have their pork, after being cooked of course, cut into pieces and put into big stainless steel cream cans. Would last for months sitting in its own fat. Pork fat sandwich’s is something my father talked about all the time, sadly passed away now but great memories.

Getting back to the heart of Survival Russia, these long camping videos are a very nice watch whilst sipping my morning tea. In the end not many creature comforts are needed. Birch is one of the more "talkative" wood species to burn especially semi-fresh. We only have - 2 Celsius at the moment. No snow of course, weather forecasters claim we'll have some soon but my trust for them is dwindling. At least the air is crisp to breathe now. Cheers Lars, see you in the next video!

You make me feel good about using my legs in the bush again while my snowmobile is broken. I don’t mind skiing, but I want to get further from town, and not have my truck vandalized on the side of the highway. I need a nice back to basics trip. Great to see you out again. -20’s here, trucks on Yellowknife Bay, sleds zipping around. Yes, I love winter. Take care across the pole!

Pushing a tree down? Not me, that crack you hear, is just as likely to be up top; and a Widow Maker comes down on your head. Why not use the Mini Crawler to drag logs back to camp? That would widen your range for hauling dead standing to your camp and conserve calories. @10:00 Lars is using an axe, not just demonstrating. This is it! This is the video we have waited 3+ years for! :) That lunch looks good. Are there good sausages for hunters to carry there? I like a good dry sausage that it is easy to slice off bits for a snack or to add to soups.

Pushing the tree to resonance multiplies your power! I look forward to the bacon operation. Like polish bacon, bozek i think? The fat is awesome fuel for keeping the body warm. In Scotland it is hard to find real bacon. Supermarket stuff is full of water, it creates a milky white goo as it cooks, then it turns to brown crud that burns onto the pan. The slices are around 1mm thick, so it ends up like crisp shrivelled up tree bark....Yuk. 22.00 hrs here and 1.6c outside, snow forecast in a week or so. Happy days, might buy my first ever tent soon, getting old lol...

+norman holland "Pushing the tree to resonance..." also multiplies the chances of the top snapping off and hitting the 'pusher'. But what is life without 'risk' ? Cutting ones own slices from a big slab of bacon is one of Lifes pleasures, thick as one desires. Have it good.
