Fear shouldn't be a motivator. What motivates should be something positive then? Such as obtaining love? Or it should motivate us to do the right thing but what is the right thing to do? Is the right thing to do come from inside your spirit? What should we pursue and focus on? Do we have a personal purpose for our life? How do we discover this purpose?

Hi bro I think we should do our work best and search sometime for our life purpose.Life has its own plans for you..wait up to that

Fear of violence? Not so uncommon in my part of the world. Maybe in Stanford.

I must have a mental block, because exposing myself to public speaking doesn't help Done it numerous times in high school and college; disastrous to the point the audience felt uncomfortable. Maybe I should start doing coke 😁 On the bright side, agorafobia is no longer an issue 👍

I suppose that means that your shocking dome is still in place. Same for me. Public speaking only got more and more frightening the more often it was done. Not sure but it might have to do with how you take the situation in, the self talk, the attitude. I feel that doing things from a place of being your own best friend helps a lot with taking difficult experiences in. As well as the willingness to experience the difficult emotions and not fighting or distracting from the feeling.

Some advice was not good. I have a MS and 30 years of experience and quit my job due to it being a terrible environment and being put in a dangerous position. I have sent out over 50 applications and have had 10 interviews. I have yet to be hired by anyone a year later.

I stopped listening. His constant use of the term "OK" is iintensely irritating.
