Several years later, he wages war to North Somalia, he bombs Hargeisa for no reason with his jets and all his weapons, his army used to kill people on the streets and they killed 1 Million people and more, after that he died in his toliet and then a new state named Somaliland was formed, it's very peaceful and it is waiting for it's recognition.

But I would like to point out that almost 95% of all attacks occur in Mogadishu alone. The northern parts of the country hasn't seen any bombings since the late 90's and have lived as functioning self governed states (A bit like Hong Kong) so there is real hope. As a west African, I have so much respect for Somalis having pride in their people and country and the fact that they never quit having faith. Thank you for going back. I wish more of the diaspora will continue to follow. Ghana just had the year of return and lots of African Americans and millennial/gen z Africans of 1st generation born in the diaspora moved back. One day Africa will be great again.

Even Somalians have more love for their country than central americans, they would die for their country, even if they find a better life, they know the best thing is to make their home better.

Somalian civil wars, refugee crisis & the ensuing chaos lasted for decades. The somalian diaspora just returned couple of years ago. Give it time & the central americans will return.

Depends on the country, but this definitely applies to places like Honduras, I've talked to a few Hondurans and they never show much national pride, I even asked one why they weren't enthusiastic about their motherland and they simply replied "we have nothing to be proud of". It's really sad, but I think that even when you're away, you should try to find a way to help your country, even in the most seemingly minor way, if you don't think your country has anything to be proud of, give it a source of national pride.

As a Somali National, I have one problem with this program. Why upload This today when it was recorded three years ago?. Somalia is very different today from 3 years ago. For me this is lazy news.

there are those of us who were working so hard and still working hard to ensure homeland is safe and livable for all of us. I also came back from abroad immediately after graduation. Home is the best. We enjoy making a difference in the lives of our 15+ million people. One step at a time. Anyone with true knowledge must not hesitate to come home and help solve problems, health, education, security, economy, political, cultural, all kinds of problems, but those of us who are truly enlightened will find the solutions.

@Jujuju It's not comfortable to live in a foreign country as an unwanted immigrant. Standard of living is not everything. Quality of life is just as important.
