So why is whataboutism a good defence why compare them to actions of the dirty disbelievers whom Allah puts a seal on their heart can their conduct not be defended on its merits. Also if they contradict scriptures and hadith why do you ascribe that as an argument for the entire religion.

Actually a lot more went to Italy to such places as the isle of Capri where you can still see the places where prominent gay people lived. Often the gondoliers of Venice were open game! Oscar Wilde, for example, went here. Officially the Catholic church was opposed but in reality it was allowed - a lot of the sex was very exploitative of course with advantage being taken of very poor people. Of course the same thing happened in north Africa etc with notorious places like Tangiers.

Do you think inclusivity will become a reality soon in Muslim majority countries as well? Countries like Pakistan and Iran are surprisingly less h8ful towards Trans individuals. Veedu, does this suggest to you . . . that maybe, just maybe, islam and muslims aren't quite a bad as some ex muslims say? There is love, light, life, poignancy among muslims too. Which implies any spiritually evolved being (human or non human (other species or jinn)) can be a muslim, even if they never heard about any Koraan or Mohammed SAW. If anyone who accesses consciousness is muslim, then by this definition, wouldn't it include Sam Hariss and the mystics from around the world for hundreds of thousands of years?
