As someone with natural freckles, that first hack looked like my own freckles on camera. Not sure what you are looking for with these hacks but it legit looked like what I have on my own face. I will say may favorite part of having freckles is that it hides blemishes and no one ever knows I get break outs so it's not odd for them to look like blemishes

Be careful with colourful “henna” it’s not really henna and some companies make it with sketchy things and it can irritate or burn the skin. I think the brightly coloured ones are usually fine if they come from a reputable company, I’ve seen them used at like fairs on kids, but it’s not really henna, it’s just a dyed paste. Real henna is a plant and is very safe to use. NEVER EVER use black henna, that stuff is caustic and can cause really serious reactions and even scarring.
@Silthria

i worked at sephora when haus labs was released! basically, haus laboratories was an amazon exclusive. i think lady gaga didn’t resonate with the branding or maybe it wasn’t selling well on amazon. so haus laboratories was discontinued but haus LABS was released this year. it’s a completely different brand and it’s a sephora exclusive. i hope that answers your question!!
@TheArtromeda
@TheArtromeda Жыл бұрын
In fact, Haus Labs was the 3rd best selling celebrity brand overall when sold on Amazon. People wanted to try and buy these products in stores, but this was not possible with Amazon and they started to lose some interest in packaging. In addition to these reasons, they agreed with Sephora and chose to rebrand because they wanted to be more innovative in their formulas

honestly, I've had one for a few months and I find it works fine. I'm actually really confused bc I didn't do anything different to Naomi and mine is a $7 shein one LMAO but to be fair I don't use it on my arms, only my legs. but it works great for legs! I will say I get a bit itchy the day after using it but that happens with shaving too, so 🤷🏻‍♀️ if you do consider it you might as well start off with a cheap one, that way it's only a few dollars wasted, but if you don't want to bother that's fair enough

i got a cheap one from Daiso and it worked on my arm, but they only have 3 uses and I haven't been back in an area that has a Daiso for a while. I didn't do anything different from Naomi either, so maybe it's just the brand Naomi used

The products were cheap and a basically a test run for what they truly wanted the brand to encompass. I'll check in again in like a year

I think part of the rebrand also has to do with how poorly it was received before. The packaging got a lot of praise but hardly anyone liked the product. To me, it looks like she's revamping the brand to be more innovative with its formulation which to me is the very definition of Lady Gaga. She's supposed to be out of the box, wacky, cooky, impressive, but still somehow trendy...and her previous stuff had just fallen flat

I tried one of those shavers a while ago, because I always cut myself shaving my legs. All it did was give me road rash all over my legs. I had big swirly abrasions all the way up and down my legs, and it burned if I touched anything or put on lotion. I do not recommend those. If it is abrasive enough to destroy your hair, it is going to take out several layers of skin before it does.

Regarding the hair remover, you need to go clockwise for about 4 counts, then counter clockwise for about 4 counts. That should remove the hair

Oh yeah the crystal/sandpaper hair removers, I remember seeing those in the early 00s. Its probably even older. They do work but it's not easier than shaving,just a gimmick

Yes! In the early 2000s you could buy them at like the dollar tree, and yeah they worked. But they’re just ok lol. And they’d be all over the as seen on tv section

For the "crystal hair remover" thing you need to rub a bit harder, especially on thicker hair- but I'm assuming your friend maybe got over confident and rubbed too hard which is what caused the scabs, it can break the first layer of the skin which hurts a lot it happened to me when I was using it on my legs. (It also increases chance of ingrown hairs and it takes so long to use so I'd say like a 4/10? mostly because they last longer than razors and they don't get clogged as much) BTW these things are called pummus stones they've been around since the 80s they work using friction! (which is why smaller areas are harder to get hair off of)

Huh I remember trying these ways back when...they never worked. I remember trying it on my legs....maybe I hadn't given it enough friction

@@ambersmith2612 don't get me wrong they work really well for exfoliating too, but it the new target demographic is aiming towards hair removal because people are always trying to find simpler/ new ways.

That razor thingy was all over my feed and the comments were a mess, arguing whether it was working or not. I honestly believe those who said it works were paid to say that lol. Haven't seen any legit person recommend it. Definitely a sketchy product to stay away from.
@noaburr
@noaburr Жыл бұрын
I'm always scared to recommend them publicly because of this lol. I genuinely do vouch for one specific brand but I know how sus it comes across because of how gross brand marketing has gotten in the past decade. I think the issue is there are a handful of brands that are legit, the one I use I really do like, but it's such an easy product to bootleg AND it went viral so there's a ton of unregulated knockoffs that will damage people's skin. Tiktok constantly promotes different versions of the product and people will buy them and have a bad experience which is why so many people are going to say they 100% do not work.

It's made a coming back from years ago. It's litteraly just exfoliating your skin but with sand paper, and it's not recomanded on sensitive skin or sensitive areas of the body.
