Same thing happened with Jaycee Dugard in Tahoe, California. History criminal and parolee 52 years old Philip Garrido used tranquilize gun to 11 year old Jaycee and kidnaped her in front of her house and kept her in the tent in the backyard of his house for 18 years. 18 years in tent and got raped every night by that monster became a mother and delivered 2 daughters and parole officer never found anything. Imagine staying in 1 tent for 18 years, getting piss, doing toilet, taking bath, sleeping, playing, doing every god damn thing in just 1 tent for 18 years staying away from parents. How much trauma Jaycee had suffered!!! We can't imagine. No one can imagine. Philip Garrido had previously kidnapped a woman and raped her for a week in warehouse. Court sent him prison but came out on parole after few years and kidnapped Jaycee. If that monster had stayed in prison and let him finish his full punishment, Jaycee would have grown up like other kids.

I read these kind of stories all the time.....Your normal a lot of people enjoy mystery I have read over 300 books of Mystery over 100 of True Crime..Ann Rule Has good books of True Crime...You can get her books at the City Library.

Regardless of the size of the town/ city. Towns/ cities have its share of predators. Its most likely, this sleepy town, had a predator, that no one would expect to be predatory. If the little girl walked that path often to her best friend house, it's most likely, her and her best friend was being tracked, activites + time and date was noted. Its obviously, a man. And he most likely used a lure, to lure her from her usual path. What would be ideal lure, perhaps a puppy in distess at a distance. Would she go check it out, try protect the puppy? After all the family did have a German Shepherd. One can only imagine what type of lure was used to abduct her There are alot of sick minded people in the world

Update: Lindsey is not as innocent as she was six months ago.

Remains were found in a remote area in eastern Washington, hundreds of miles away from McCleary, in Kittitas County, near Ellensburg. Once collected, the remains were taken for DNA analysis at the FBI lab, in Quantico, Virginia. It wasn't until May 2018 that the DNA results were released. Sheriff Scott announced his team had finally brought Lindsey home and verified that the DNA results matched the little girl. It had taken months for a confirmation, but now Melissa and her family knew Lindsey was no longer alive.
