Your ears have been blessed by the king of rock :). Welcome to the Queen rabbit hole! If you think Freddie's voice is versatile... you have no idea. He had an entire album with an opera singer called Montserrat Caballé in '88. If you listen to their duet "Ensueño" and then to "Exercises in Free Love" (only Freddie) from that album, you'd think he was two different people. And the only formal training he got was in piano. He had no vocal training! Think about that for a second... He was something else. He also wrote both of the songs you've heard so far (this one and BoRhap). You mentioned his lungs. I know I've seen a video (I think from Queen's '86 show at Wembley) of Freddie jogging across their gigantic stage and singing without missing a beat, insane. Can't wait to see more of your reactions. I'd love to see you react to one of Freddie's impromptus. It was a sort of vocal improv he'd do during the shows sometimes. Just search "impromptu queen" and you'll find several.

There were always on point, they had chemistry made in heaven. And all of them wrote nº 1 song, multiple times. We must give credit to the whole band, they were really talented musicians, all of them. But of course, Freddie Mercury stands out, just being Freddie. His unique voice, his charisma on stage, his energy and the way that he, that all of them had to make the crowd feel like one of the band, was unbeatable and not able to be copied. Many have tried, none have got even close. Another great one is White Queen live at the Hammersmith 1975. The studio version is great but the live one, OMG, is way explosive.

A performance where you can really hear how beautifully high Roger can sing check out Lap of the Gods Live at the Rainbow 1974. Singing and Drumming at the same time is very hard and you don't often see drummers doing that, Roger is so special thats why I love him so much. They were always greater live, there are some songs that are better with the studio version but thats very very rare with Queen. Nice Reaction. i think you could be right in saying that? i'm 59 now and have been a fanatic since '76, we always loved them all and knew how good freddie was but it is looking back now that we can see how truly amazing he was, great musician and fantastic performer, on stage he runs up and down steps without dropping a note, as a unit all 4 were on top of their game and each one is just as important as the other, it annoys me when people write Freddie Mercury and Queen!! 👑✊🇬🇧

Should check out the Live Aid ‘85 performance, the most amazing live rock performance of all time. I’ve watched that video dozens of times and I still think it’s awesome, it never gets old. Queen totally stole the show, all the big names were there performing and queen smoked them all.

I love both Queen and Pentatonix. Rock and acapella are my favorite genres. I’m a Pentaholic and a Queen fan for decades. Awesome reactions!

Queen-White Queen (live at the Odeon 1975) an absolute must. After you listen to the studio version, of course. An absolutely incredible performance

It is so wonderful to watch someone truly appreciate Freddy. The raw emotion that his voice could pull out of everyone was amazing. And, just saying, you are very entertaining to watch and I enjoy your analysis. I look forward to watching more of your videos

The only word I could use to describe how it feels to experience what you're experiencing when watching Freddy is "Overwhelming", right? I've been listening to Queen for a long time and I still get overwhelmed, speechless, amazed, etc.. I don't know any other band that has this much talent between them. They all write the songs, play different instruments and 3 out of 4 sing. Legends.

I was at the Live Aid concert along with 78000 others, 4th row back, right in the middle. Freddie held each and everyone one of us in the palm of his hand. It was magic, mind blowing!!! Not any of the very famous acts could touch him or his magic. You guys have NO idea what real music is all about!! NOTHING fancy about Freddie, just Freddie and his talent. Fantastic!!!!

It's always more impressive to watch the energy the whole band (and, of course, especially Freddie) brings to live performance. You really get to appreciate his showmanship and the way that he just takes over the stage...just awsome!

Back in Freddie's younger days Freddie was a Boxer. We know how fit they are and how much stamina they have. Here in 81, Freddie was still at his peak. He had incredible stamina.

Yes, a lot of people overlook the fact that he was an amateur boxing champion for small tournaments both in India and in England.

This was absolutely refreshing and I totally teared up watching your blind reaction to Bohemian Rhapsody video! As a huge Queen fan, you totally externalized the emotions I feel every time I listen to these songs.
