This exact stuff is what gives the lgbtq community a bad look, especially when others go and downplay or excuse it. I've been saying this for a while now, but I've always got a million different types of "phobe" thrown at my face. The idea that on one hand a community is trying to find validity in the public eye, especially against the idea they're all groomers, then on the other hand support actions and communities that do this, purely based off of the ideology that because they are an lgbtq community they must be protected, is simply idiotic. Sadly, the academic history of the really radical ends of that community is rather disturbing as well. I both invite people to and strongly discourage people from, reading the foundational essay on the neo-Marxian aspects of the far-radical section of that community (there is a reason the really radical ones who will shield actual groomers tend to also be Communists), called Thinking Sex, by *current* University of Michigan professor Gayle Rubin. It's truly an awful writing, as the conclusion is basically 'everyone who opposes grooming will be on the wrong side of history.' I hate seeing honest people with real attractions being used by those radicals who claim to be on their side (but as actual gay rights advocates learned in the 90s) actually are not. The radicals benefit by *increasing* the marginalization of gays and lesbians.

​Depends. Drug abuse can severely affect those people in a decent proximity to the drug abuser in more ways than just theft. Like you said, stealing can be a thing, however physical and mental abuse is a very common thing. I've worked with patients who have a history of attacking their family's and friends, who have let their kids starve, and live in squalor because that money went towards getting their fix, have severely injured or killed those while driving under the influence. I worked with someone who worked themselves to an early grave to pay for her son's habits to stop him going out and doing something stupid for drugs. Her son is now in prison for a very long time for the things he did to get those drugs after his mum died. @@McFwoupson

As a trans person, this video has done more good to me than Keffals has in her entire career. It shouldn't be controversial just because they happen to be trans. If you believe in full equality like I do, you want equal punishment as well as equal reward. If they did something objectively bad, they have no defense.

I’m only mad he didn’t include any of the community that he’s claiming to be defending. Not a single trans person interviewed, no community context to how hated she was by the community, no real defense of trans people even though we all know the were all gonna get compared to her for the next few weeks. He should have known better then to make it purely about her and nothing else knowing his audience. It’s a poorly made video about an important topic within the trans space. Numerous people have done it better.

​@@maxxie653 Sunnyv2 puts similarly unappealing art of the people he covers on his thumbnails. Political artist have been drawing ugly characatures of all kinds of people for decades. If anything, coddling trans people from mockery or ridicule like the rest of us seems infantilizing to me. I can see where youre coming from but the thumbnail doesnt seem like its mocking Keffals for her transness specifically.
